Re: Best lip balms?
I really like the Burt's Bees ones, they make your lips slightly tingly (which i like) but they don't 'smother' your lips like vaseline sometimes does. They last a long time, and they do tinted ones in lots of colours now too

You can get them in Boots, and I've seen them in Fenwicks too. -
Re: Best lip balms?Depends on your budget.(Original post by ZeeAli)
Hi im looking for a really good lip balm that stays on your lips and doesnt rub away after like 2 mins :/ any suggestions ?
im currently using the body collection chap stick and its not bad but the flavours not nice lol ?
any help would be appreciated
If you want cheap, Vaseline is the best shout. Also, there's a lovely Balance Me lipsalve free with this month's £2 Glamour Mag, it's worth £12 itself. There are 4 products to choose from tho so you may have to dig around at the newsagents to find the lipsalve. If you like Rose scents/flavours, you're onto a winner. It's lovely, nice and conditioning, very smooth, reasonable staying power.
Not tried Burt's Bees but everyone's raving, probably a good mid-price option.
If you're up for splashing out a little more, I'd SO recommend Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm for dry and chapped lips. You can get this from Marks and Spencer's online beauty store, or from the M&S at Westfield Stratford if convenient. It's £9.50, but it's LUSH. Beautiful smell, think honey and lemon, but in a delicious pudding way as opposed to a Beechams way. very natural, not at all synthetic. It's really thick, almost a tiny bit grainy, but this gives it some serious staying power. if you put it on before bed you'll still feel conditioned in the morning. This is a great one to use overnight to do some real conditioning or use sparingly as a nice lip primer. They also do some cheaper, lighter versions in a stick form. Could also try Perlier, an Italian brand, again available from M&S's new beauty section, who also use honey in their products and they are equally as yummy.
Yeah, I like lip balms.. -

Where's everyone buying Carmex from? I swear I've never seen it in a shop before! I don't have a favourite lip balm brand, I'm currently using a blistex one. Actually thinking about it, the Burt's bees lipwax(?) is AMAZING, it is incredibly minty and so addictive I reapply it ten times an hour :P
