Intense stomach pain or period pain which before the pill was so bad I would faint and get sick from it every time, and it lasted 2-3 days, unrelenting pain. It's totally downplayed I think, seems that a hot water bottle and chocolate will help if you look at portrayal of it! Ehh...

Witty answer: That 11 year old on twitter writing about how Justin Bieber is bigger than Kurt Cobain because he has the biggest fanbase on twitter.

Probably period pains, but I've had some pretty bad earaches and I broke my toes when I was about 10 which hurt.

Lol I feel that my experiences are a lot nicer than some of those posted :L

    My worst would be:

    1) Getting my braces off (my teeth are kinda weird so it hurt a hell of a lot getting the braces off)
    2) Appendicitus was pretty bad the night before I got it out and I have a pretty high pain threshold from years of orthodontic work

Age 3 = Fell onto cabinet and my nose not only broke, but was hanging off! (However can't remember the amount of pain)

Age 6 = My brother punched my two front teeth out.

Age 10 = Riding my bike, then the wheel got caught on the curb, resulting in the handle bars stabbing me in the stomach, I had a whole in my stomach with blood pouring out. (Still have the scar).

Age 12 = Ran into someone at school and smashed my head on the ground, falling on my arm in the proccess. I broke my wrist and fractured my skull. (I had blood pouring out of my nose and ears, and the school didn't even call for an ambulance, was crying for an hour and a half till my dad got there). PROBABLY THE WORST PAIN I CAN REMEMBER!!!!

Age 15 = Did the same thing as at 'Age 10' but through trying to do a trick on a bmx. (I now have two circular scars on either side of my torso).

Age 16 = Cleanng the house with an old metal broom, with the end broken (very sharp). I accidentally hit the brrom against the wall and the top end went through my hand. (Now have half a circular scar on my right hand).

I am VERY accident prone, i have also broken/fractured my ankle & knee.

    Jesus Christ...
You don't have much luck, do you? :zomg:

Re: So whats the worst pain you have ever felt?
When I was about 9 or 10 I had a splinter down one of my fingernails. I went to the doctors thinking they'd give me some cream to encourage it to come out or something and the nurse (sister or whatever) pushed a very large needle (looked like one of the screwdrivers you get in the christmas crackers) down my fingernail while my mum held me down under her instruction. Blood squirting all over the place and all it did was break the splinter up into lots of little bits.

When I was about 14 I'd had a (then undiagnosed) fungal toenail infection for about two years and my toenail had begun to grow away from the toe a bit so there was a slight gap and the nail was really brittle and discoloured etc. Anyway... I was in a swimming pool with my stepbrother and the wave machine got turned on. I've always been a little bit vertically challenged and at one point I was tiptoeing on the bottom of the pool when a wave came. My toenail dragged along the tiles and did what can only be described as 'popping' as my nail went one direction and my toe went the other to the extent where it had become completely detached from the nail bed and the sides and was hanging on by the bottom like a hinge. I was in absolute agony and had to swim out knowing that there was probably a lot of blood and it was a graduated pool rather than one with steps. As I was walking out of it there was blood with bits in it pumping out of my toe every time I put any pressure on it.

The worst part was that I went to see the lifeguards for first aid. All they did was put a plaster on it (not sure how I was meant to take it off) and they treated me like I was some gross object with no feelings whatsoever and they kept making vomit noises. I mean sorry but I'm sure foot injuries aren't that uncommon in swimming pools so if you have a problem with feet and toenails then don't become a fking lifeguard! I was limping around for days after that and I had to see a chiropodist who didn't diagnose the fungal thing but trimmed the toenail down to the bottom so that at least it wasn't just hanging there.

To be fair I probably shouldn't have been swimming with the whole fungal thing going on but I didn't know I had it as I'd been showering every day and that the rest of my toenails were fine. It wasn't properly diagnosed until over 4 years after that and nobody in my family has had any problems so it obviously wasn't very contagious.

Another painful thing was having my tongue pierced. I was all tensed up and actually trying to scream as he pushed the needle through which can't have helped matters given that it's a muscle. My tongue was like a whale for about 12 days and I spent the whole time crying and popping painkillers. Only being able to eat supernoodles and drink water is rather depressing lol

I'll be perfectly honest, and take a neg train for it...

The only thing to have hurt me enough to make me cry since about the age of 11 or 12 has been women.

I'd much rather take some sort of physical pain than the mental anguish that can be inflicted by someone you love.

For me, its either going about 20km/h on my bike when I was 11, trying to do some sort of jump, landing, foot slips of the pedal, and I scrape my knee and shin about 4 metres until a lot of skin is ripped off and I end up with a stone going in my knee by about 5cm,

or its stubbing my toe when I had an ingrown toenail at 9

Edit: Though I can't remember what it felt like, when I was 3/4 I fell onto the corner of a class coffee table ... WITH MY FACE, and the skin from the bottom of my eye to my mouth was hanging loose.
Both of those sound rather painful.

Mine, well it would have to be that time when I was hit by a driver and side airbags. Alas was also wearing sleeveless which made it worse.

Though it is supposed to save your life and prevent serious injury it still does hurt when it deploys, had a bloody nose and some rug burns after that.

Had what should have been a surgical procedure without any anesthesia. Not even a concussion, broken bones, or getting knocked out came close to the amount of pain a felt, and the doctor acted like I was a baby for being in so much pain. He was a ****.

Period pains. Not every month, but there have been times when I've been unable to stand up from the pain and been confined to the bed.

It's even worse than the pain after the motorbike accident I had.

    Period pain.

I've broken both wrists, sprained an ankle and a wrist, cut half my leg open that needed stitches and left a massive scar, had teeth been pulled out by dentists and had an allergic reaction so bad I couldn't walk and was struggling to breathe. Still doesn't beat that really bad type of period pain that seems to come every six months or so...

Hamstring tendon rupture. Chronic pain is worse than the one offs. It becomes all you ever think about.

Agh, I had migraines since I was 11 too and still get them now. In fact I'm recovering from my fortnightly (is that word?) migraine attack.
I can quite easily trigger a migraine, from bright lights, flashing (of lights), strong smells, loud noises and being bonked on the head :P
I know how horrible it is to feel it Dx
Whenever I do get a migraine, I just stay under the covers in bed in a quiet room. No light, no sound, no smells, just me in the dark.... Both my mum and my grandmother used to get migraines, so I guess they passed the painful gene to me
You have my sympathy. I've had migraines on and off since I was about 12. I remember one when we were in drama and using stage lights. I seem to remember it was a half day, walking home, going upstairs and laying on my bed crying.

Bright and flashing lights are the worst. Unfortunately, many tests I require involve some form of flashing / bright light.

Period pains, definitely. I've sat on the floor before clutching my stomach and crying.

If not that, then stepping on the pins of a plug and having it rip off part of the skin under my foot. Yayy.
