Opinions on Ed Hardy
http://edhardyshop.com/categories/ed...-t-shirts.html
Just wondering what people's opinion on this brand is. As you can see the premise is to be as bright, colorful and in-peoples-face as possible. However, the attraction for me is the fact that it seems to be rare in the UK. -
The definitions on Urban Dictionary of this brand do make for a rather funny read. Personally I cannot take someone who wears it seriously. I think its overpriced rubbish, don't go near it. Obviously unless you are a member of 'Jersey Shore' or thinking of becoming one.

I'd probably pay not to wear it
Yeah flames and skulls! LOVE KILLS RAHHHH...
What are we ten?
Ed Hardy is unbelievably tacky. Also I agree about Jack Wills - what's so special about a random name on a hoodie?

Re: Opinions on Ed Hardy
I dislike it, not only because it's tacky, but because everytime I see someone wearing Ed Hardy, this song plays in my head like it's their own little theme tune:
"You're the height of all douche-baggery, it's too much to take
But damn you look so cool in steel-point shoes
And when you've got so much Ed Hardy it must be hard for you to choose
Cause you're your own biggest fan and the only one you've got
Nobody think it's cool when you peel out in the parking lot
Of your high school where you graduated six years ago
Hey dude, hey bro, you will always be a douchebag
You will always be a douchebag."
You can get much nicer things to wear. -
Re: Opinions on Ed Hardy
It angers me because, like other designers like Hollister and Abercrombie, I bet if you asked shoppers why they brought the brand they wouldn't be able to think of a reason. Style is an expression of yourself, and if you can't define why you wear a piece of clothing you can't really identify with your own style.
