Re: Nestle's Question. No, are you really so stupid that you think that a multinational such as Nestle would harm animals in this day and age? do you know what that kind of publicity would do to them? jesus christ.(Original post by mescoriza)
I know the sauce is vegetarian, but I mean does the company harm animals?
No sarcastic comments wanted

Re: Nestle's Question.
I would imagine that what's on the PETA webpage is probably quite true, although as the PETA are interested in that sort of thing then what they've written is going to be subject to a bit of bias... But it does seem it was only the tea they were testing, and they were only using specially bred mice which seems OK-ish to me..
My advice? I'd eat the sauce anyway. It's lovely with ice cream.. -
Re: Nestle's Question.lol please do not take PETA seriously...(Original post by mescoriza)
The thing is I read on PETA they did, so.... and the CEO apparently said it. But not sure. -
Re: Nestle's Question.
As a vegetarian myself, I see your concerns, but it depends if the cows are kept in healthy conditions. Unwell cows produce sub-standard milk, so if they want a quality product, the animals must be healthy.
However, there is controversy over this company as some groups believe it kills babies in impoverished countries. I don't know the ins and outs of it all, but here's a wikipedea link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nestl%C3%A9_boycottLast edited by brunettegirl92; 18-06-2012 at 01:11.
