Does your religion restrict you at all from enjoying life?
For all the religious people out there does your religion stop you from enjoying your life more. For example any particular restrictions it might have or things that you have to practice that you don't really like but only comply because you have faith?

Re: Does your religion restrict you at all from enjoying life?
As a Christian, my first priority in life is serving God and following His law. Although I often enjoy this, sometimes it isn't so enjoyable, not because I feel 'restricted' from doing things, but because serving God will often mean doing things that are difficult or things that make you fearful. But it always a comfort and a source of strength to remember why you're doing what you're doing and that God hasn't forsaken you even if it feels like He has.

From my perspective, it doesn't really make sense to 'only comply because you have faith'. Surely if you have faith you'll want to follow teachings and practices? Of course, it's not as simple as this, especially if everyone around you seems to be enjoying things that you don't agree with, and many people struggle with it.

Nope I love playing Gears of War 3 on my Xbox, playing football and going to the cinema with my friends and praying and talking with my family and relatives.

If anything faith has enriched my enjoyment of life as it gives me a structure and comfort when I feel down.

It's also great to have a global community of fellow muslims to pray with and on my Umrah (pilgrimage to Mecca) last year it was truly breathtaking how many of my fello brothers and sisters across the globe united to worship the one true God that we all praise and love.

brother don't misunderstand me here, what i'am trying to put across is that all bad things for our health and society are prohibited in islam and in Christianity. e/g in the bible women are told to cover their hair and body Corinthians 11: 3to lure the eye of the man away but yet they do not follow and complain of rape which in common sense they caused it upon themselves.

Seriously? It's the woman's fault if she gets raped?

You know, you're a lot more likely to be in a plane crash if you board a plane, so I guess you cant do that either. Same goes for choking on food while eating.

And you still haven't addressed other things that "drain energy level", let me give you a brief list; Walking, Running, Being awake, Sleeping, Talking, Standing, Sitting, Brain Function (you seem to have that one covered though), Breathing (Maybe you can sort this one first), Blinking, Jumping, Looking up, Looking down, Chewing and Aging.

yes those ones are made from cow not pigs which in Christianity it's in the book of Leviticus, Chapter 11, v.7, God declares the pig to be unclean for believers.
This command is repeated in Deuteronomy 14;7-8. Then, in Isaiah 65:2-4, and 66:17, God issues a stern warning against those who eat pork.

then why do most of the Christians ignore what they are told? at the end of the day it's them that are losing not ALLAH anyways God loves you and wants only the BEST for his mankind

    View the architecture.

Will your religion of peace let me do that?

Better check with the imam eh? Or is there a verse on it in the perfect book?

You can still go Medina and visit the Prophet's mosque and grave if you want. You have to understand the holiness of the pilgrimage. Only Muslims can undertake it becuase there are very stringent guidelines you have to follow.

beloved brother lets imagine for now that ur a headteacher of a school be it primary or whatever, and one day u ran short of maths teachers. So as it goes u try to hire some math teachers but before that u MUST do an interview right?

ok, lets say that 3 turn up ok? u ask each one them a simple equation like 3+3 ok? bear with me teacher1 says ''5'' teacher2 say ''6'' and t3 says ''33''

Now knowing clearly that 3+3 =6 u chase the t1 and t3 away and u employee t2. My question is why did u do that why???? well it's b'coz u know the truth right?Same in Islam, in no other book does God say that this is the right religion go through the bible and Torah God doesn't say this.
