Hi,

Basically, i'm slightly confused about my offer as i'm unsure whether a standalone AS will count towards my firm offer:

This offer is subject to you obtaining
A minimum of 260 UCAS Tariff points including
from at least 2 GCE A levels or AVCEs

GCE A level
Grade C - Biology

Let's say i get CCC from my 3 A2s. That will leave me with 240 points. I dropped a subject last year, which i achieved a C in. Will these extra 40 points count towards my offer above?

Yes, the points from AS will definitely count. I had an offer of 240 points where points from an AS counted.

Actually, I'm not sure if they will. What uni is it for? You might be better off asking them- email them and see what they say. The wording's a little ambiguous for my liking.
