C in maths? Manchester want B... is it worth retaking?
I want to apply to do PPE and I think I can meet their entrance criteria for a levels I (we will have to see in the summer though) , but I have a C in GCSE maths! They request a B.
Their list of students must students must study a levels contains all of the a levels I study. I haven't decided what I'm dropping yet, but I currently study A level Economics, English literature, Philosophy & Ethics as well as Psychology and I think I can meet their entrance criteria by the end of A2.
Do I need to resit or is there a way round this.
Btw, I also have a C in GCSE Statistics and could take AS maths as a 4th subject next year if my sixth form let me.
Also this will be for 2013.

If you take AS maths then GCSE maths won't really be looked upon by Manchester, say if you got a B in AS maths and you have a C in GCSE maths you'd most likely still get an offer seeing as you have taken maths at higher level.

It's best to contact the uni just to make sure
