Anyone else looking forward to second year of university?
I am, just very anxious about the work involved in order to get a 2:1 and above!

Anyone have any tips? On how to make second year a success? How to prepare for the working world?

Depends entirely on the subject and your aptitude in said subject.

Work hard, start things early, ask for help if you need it.

I'm excited, summer started for me in late March and I've just been working since. All that time off can get very boring!

I'd say you need to keep organised and don't let deadlines get on top of you to do well, some people still get 2.1s and above doing the work the night before, but personally I couldn't deal with the stress of that!
