Want hair like this, photos inside.
So I have quite a round face / head so I get the very basic hair style of just getting a 2 around the back and sides and then like a 6 or 7 ontop and just gel is messy up to give my face a more oval appereance but I just don't like it now and I'm bored of it.

I want something like the photos I uploaded but I don't know what it's called or what to ask for when I go to the hair dressers + my hair grows outwards in every direction so I look like a fuzzball whenever my hair gets even slightly long lol.

I'm thinking to just let it grow and then take some photos like this to the hair dresser and just say give me this hair style lol

Also the hair at the sides of my head to not grow downwards but grow outwards..... how do I make my hair more soft so that it just falls in whatever direction I tell it lol

Well to be honest, there is no certain way to make your hair fall downwards forever. It's all up to your hair follicle which also determines how straight or curly your hair is.

But, there is a solution. When you're blow drying your hair, take a round brush and just blow dry it in the shape you want.

the longer your hair is the more weight it will have so will grow downwards... nothing to do with softness

i speak from experience here.. im a girl but when i was a kid i had like an afro.. literally... now ive grown it out and let it get super long.. but its tamed my hair a lot and it now hangs down rather than poofs out more.

i would perhaps pay the money just once and go to a top hairdresser and see if they can give you any tips or style ideas.

Any video of men doing similar stuff? Easier to relate it to my hair if it's short and of a man

Thanks I'll just let it grow I guess.... just having a round face makes my hair look ridiculous lol, when I get out the shower and dry my hair, my head just looks like a bowling ball covered in fluff that's had an electric shock! lol. Is there anything to make your hair thinner? Lighter or something so that it's easier to manipulated? My hair doesn't like being told what to do even when I use wax it trys to fight back to it's natural position.

Whatever hair style you want depends on what hair type you have and what products you should be using. If you are unsure just ask your hairdresser.

my hair doesnt like being told what to do either.. never ever introduce my hair to a blowdryer thats just asking for trouble! i usually jsut pull mine back into a pony tail as girls can do that!

hairdressers can thin hair.. i usually get them to do mine

i would just say that you need to learn to accept your hair as it is, and learn how to make it look good without using a ton of wax is possible.. i find it futile on my hair.. even frizz ease stuff doesnt really work!
