Just wondering if our school is the only one in which we have to write our own chem (higher) notes?

That's odd. When I was in school doing my highers we just copied what the teacher put on the board. Advanced higher we had to do a lot of our own though.

Nope we had to write our own notes. We had challenge chem notes, I think, which had all the information and a checklist of all the information we had to summarise for our own notes. However by the end of the year the teacher just gave us model notes.
