Re: Post your PC SpecsThat is amazing, you're going to need to do the HDD some justice for a computer of that spec. It's probably going to cost you more running the fans for this comp, than paying for it.(Original post by hassi94)

Are you making this yourself, or having it specially made by someone else? -
Re: Post your PC SpecsWell the HDD will only be used for storing films and music really so I'll be getting a 2TB 5400/5900RPM drive because I don't need anything faster and 7200RPM is a little too loud for my liking(Original post by FredrickTrott)

I don't need the storage until about September so I'm waiting for prices to hopefully drop
And making it myself

Re: Post your PC SpecsThats pretty cool, I'm waiting till Uni, to do something like this as well, however i don't think it will be as awesome, due to a serious lack of funds(Original post by hassi94)

Re: Post your PC SpecsIf there is then it's old, information is likely outdated and cluttered and lost somewhere(Original post by Scott1541)
There is already a PC Spec thread somewhere (I think there might even be 2)
-
Re: Post your PC SpecsTrue, maybe we should have a benchmark thread too, or a combined thread for everything. We must know how these fine machines people have posted perform(Original post by hassi94)

Re: Post your PC SpecsI think it's a good idea but it may not be very active due to needing to download programs. Probably worth starting in a week's time or so when there are more people wasting their time on TSR out of boredom(Original post by Scott1541)

Re: Post your PC Specsim on a 4 month summer holiday, im already bored(Original post by hassi94)

Built it myself 2 months ago, it's quite the beast. Currently with family (argh!) so do not have access to the comp which is why some of the later specs aren't that precise. Also bought top notch Razer peripherals, a Turtle Beach true 5.1 surround headset and an Asus 27" VG278H Lightboost equipped 3D monitor. -
