    Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990fx
    Ram: G.Skills ripjaws 2 X 2gb 1600Mhz
    GPU(Graphics card): XFX 6870HD 1GB
PSU(Power Supply): Coolmaster GX 650 Watt
    HDD(Hard drive): Samsung 320gb

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 1600MHz DDR3 (2*4GB)
    GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 3X GTX 670 2GB
    PSU: Coolermaster GX 650W
    SSD: Samsung 830 256GB
    HDD: TBA
    Optical Drive: LiteOn iHas264 DVD-RW

Erm for the tower alone costs come to about £850.

Then got mouse, keyboard, speakers and mouse mat for £90 (and already have a monitor).

That is amazing, you're going to need to do the HDD some justice for a computer of that spec. It's probably going to cost you more running the fans for this comp, than paying for it.

Are you making this yourself, or having it specially made by someone else?

Well the HDD will only be used for storing films and music really so I'll be getting a 2TB 5400/5900RPM drive because I don't need anything faster and 7200RPM is a little too loud for my liking I don't need the storage until about September so I'm waiting for prices to hopefully drop

    And making it myself

There is already a PC Spec thread somewhere (I think there might even be 2)

If there is then it's old, information is likely outdated and cluttered and lost somewhere

True, maybe we should have a benchmark thread too, or a combined thread for everything. We must know how these fine machines people have posted perform

I think it's a good idea but it may not be very active due to needing to download programs. Probably worth starting in a week's time or so when there are more people wasting their time on TSR out of boredom

Built it myself 2 months ago, it's quite the beast. Currently with family (argh!) so do not have access to the comp which is why some of the later specs aren't that precise. Also bought top notch Razer peripherals, a Turtle Beach true 5.1 surround headset and an Asus 27" VG278H Lightboost equipped 3D monitor.
