    Acne Scars?
Long story short, I had a fairly stubborn acne spot on my nose. It finally gave up the fight about a week ago after a month's worth of trial and error getting rid of the thing.

Only problem is that a nice scar has remained and now I want to get rid of this. I know scars naturally stay but is there anything available to reduce it or even remove it completely? The scar is very visible and noticeable and it's bringing me down a bit?

    Any suggestions?

    Please and thank you!

Use an exfoliating face scrub in the shower everyday and if you can afford it, have a nice proper facial at a salon every month which is specially designed to encourage new skin. Clarins facials are good for this.

Are the scars pigment discoloring or dents in your skin?

Is it really that visible? I know a guy that has pigment discolouring and dents all over his face, he isn't bothered by it (although he should be imo)... if it isn't that visible just leave it or try out the Clarisonic Mia... if it is really bad I heard chemical peels do the job, not 100% on that though.

really 'cos I have it at my home and I don't use it 'cos my skin is quite sensitive to it and it (doesn't irritate) but feels uneasy because it's too runny, if you know what I mean? Guess I'll give it a try.

To the OP: I used Oxy on the Spot cream (contains benzoyic peroxide) works but depends on how serious the scars are.

Depends what kind of scar it is.. if it's hyperpigmentation then it's supposed to fade on its but takes forever and a half so you can use a lightening cream and apply it to the scar

If its an ice pick scar, like a dent, then chemical peels should help but that type of scar tends to be more permanent..

    Cold-pressed rosehip oil.

Bio-oil may be effective in some cases. However, although facial scars take a long time to mature, they usually vanish considerably just given time.

Awkward place, sunlight will darken the scar.

Bio-oil perhaps? that's suppose to reduce scarring, or just hope that over time it'll fade.

Pigment discolouring, sorry I didn't state this in the OP. Don't have much knowledge in this area

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, i'll look into them

If anyone has anymore ideas, please post. One of these is bound to work!
