Hopefully someone in Cardiff will be able to point me in the right direction. A large group of us are planning to take a trip to Cardiff to celebrate a friends 18th, ideally a week night as travelodge etc. is much cheaper. It'll be in the middle of july so i am cautious that it will no longer be term time, would there be any big student nights on? What day would you recommend?

Tuesday Revs, Weds - Revs / Oceana, Thurs - Glam (would be standard nights) but I don't know what they are like middle of July!

In addition to the above there's also Metros on Wednesday (1.49 doubles, rock/indie/punk music), and TNT at Walkabout on Thursdays, which is also very cheap with chart/dance music. I'd avoid Revs on Wednesdays like the plague, and on Tuesdays you'll want to either be buying queue jump tickets or getting there early on the door, queue can get ridiculous after 10.

I agree with the above and again am not sure what they're like out of term time.
Tues - Revs (BUT BUY QUEUE JUMP!!)
Wed - Glam or Oceana
Thurs - TNT at Walkabout
