There is someone standing from afar. Me, you and X have our own conceptions of who he is. I believe he is white, in his early 20s and 6'3. You believe he is black, in his 40s and 5'4. X believes he is east Asian, 60s and 5'9. We are all referring to the same person but simply have different conceptions of him. Thus, I'd say they do believe in the same god but have different conceptions of him.

We believe there is no god except Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.
Allah revealed the Tawraat (Torah) to Moosa (Moses), the Injeel (Gospel ie bible) to Isa Ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary) and then the final revelation the Quran to Muhammad.

Having said that our belief is that the present day Torah and Bible are corrupt and not in the state they were revealed to the messengers.

Our Lord is one but they do not exactly worship the same god, they do worship god which revealed the scriptures to their messenger and in that sense they worship the same god but then when you ask them if they are worshipping the same god they will say no, in that sense they are not. In my opinion, they worship seperate gods as they don't think that the god is the same and by not following the Quran they are disbelieving in which sense they don't follow god.

If we are to talk about photons, and you say you think they are waves.

I have a different belief and say they are particles (for argument's sake), then by your logic, we are talking about completely different photons.

When in actual fact, we are talking about the same idea, just different beliefs.

Yes. All religious people pray to the same God, some just haven't realized it yet.

I believe Jews and Muslims do moreorless, though the majority of Christians have a different interpretation of God due to their concept of the Trinity. But they don't believe in different gods. Its the same one God, but altering interpretations.

They're all abrahamic religions, so it's probably different interpretations of the same god.

We worship the same God, but give different attributes to Him. This is how I've always seen it;

For example, the Biblical God walks on Earth and tires etc. Whereas the Islamic God does not, nor does it "befit Him" to take the shape of a human or walk amongst us.

Christians stress God "loves everyone", even though He puts most of them in Hell. Whereas the Islamic God, loves those who do Good, and dislikes those who do bad etc.

Just a few differences I've noticed.

I'm guessing you're trolling, otherwise that's a lot of Arab Christians worshiping the wrong god.

An important part of the Christian doctrine is that God is tripartite. Although the three versions of 'God' have similar origins, there are important differences and hence why the three faiths are in conflict so much in world history.

However, I can tell you that the god of the muslims is definately NOT the God of the christians (that include arab christians as well).

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the God of Jews and Christians, He is NOT the god of muhammad. Although, muslims will tell you otherwise.

I doubt Jews believe they worship the same god as the christians because you believe jesus is god which would be blasphemous to them.

That's true. Jews don't believe that their God is the same as the Christian God.

As far as I understand it, all three faiths believe in the same God. The prophets are the same, up to a point. The christians believe Jesus is the son of God, which the other two reject. I think though I am not sure, that Muslims believe, Mohammad was the prophet who came to correct misinterpretations of the other two, and Jewish fundamentalists believe the other two are wrong, and are still waiting for the Messiah. Quite confusing, then we could talk about sectarianism, and the whole thing becomes ridiculous. If God was real, and I do not know whether he is, then surely he would clear up the mess, to keep a tidy house.

The three faiths don't believe in the same God.
Judaism and Christianity to some effect believe in the same God (but Jews reject Jesus as God)

But Islam is nowhere near there. Not only does it not believe in the God of Jews and Christians...it rejects the Holy Trinity (which is the God of Christianity)

So Islam is totally in the opposite direction.

This is not a different "perception" of God. Islam literally rejects the main, central theme of the Christian God.
