    Volunteering - Psychology Degree
    Hi,

I'm about to start a Psychology degree and have just finished my A-Levels. I would like to go into a job in Psychology, and am aware I would need as much experience as possible to stand out from the crowd.

I'm not sure which area of Psychology I would want to go into, but I've looked on the "do-it" website and found a position in a pre-school with working with children, and also one helping on day trips with the mentally ill.

Which one of these would be useful? If they don't clash, should I do both, as I will have lots of time over summer?

...or should I look for a different voluntary position?

Does anyone know of internships which I could do whilst completing my degree in the summer months? Any websites or information you know of in the Leeds region would be perfect!

    Thanks

Both of those experiences would give you useful skills, but if you can only do one, the second is more relevant
