I noticed some people have heard back regarding accommodation. I've applied to stay at Marketgate but haven't heard back yet, just wondering if anyone else has?

Not yet mate. People are saying that they are doing one place at a time so far I think student village has heard back... We should hear soon though

I got my e-mail today saying i've got a place at marketgate, as anyone else? It doesn't tell me what room or flat or anything. It just says unite will be sending paperwork out to me throughout june/july.

But here's something fishy...My (and I assume everyone's) student maintenance loan is being loaned to me in 3 instalments over the coming year. BUT, the Unite company want all the rent up front. Which i wont have, because of the above stupidity! UGHHGHGHGHG!!!!!!!!!

A series of emails all with info etc. The main stuff was a tenancy agreement which I have to sign and witness etc and send back. Although I need to ring Unite up and change my rent plan to a 3 instalment plan rather than 1, which I should be able to do.
