When I was in year 6 so I was about 10 or 11, we played a variation of dodgeball in my school and I often did quite well in it. One time, I was the last of 3 kids left out of 20 to not be 'out' and during the game I bent down to tie my shoelace and the ball literally went just over me and bounced off the wall. Everyone was amazed at me and I just acted like 'yeah boi I'm awesome
' (in reality I was just fixing my shoelace and had no idea where the ball was)

Once I accidentally jumped a whole flight of stairs because I was in such a rush and and landed on my feet. It was either instantly stop running and risk falling down the stairs or just go for it which I did. I felt like I was doing Parkour. But I did do a bit of damage to my leg though.
haha! That is awesome.(Original post by Ape Gone Insane)
Someone once threw a pen straight at my face in school. I wasn't even really looking at the pen travelling towards my face. Just raised my left hand and, without moving my arm, caught the pen between two fingers like a chopstick ... inches before it hit my face. I pretended it was a natural Matrix like reflex.

Re: Those moments when you realise you're awesomeHaha brilliant, its like something out of a cartoon where the bitchy clever girl's plan doesn't succeed.(Original post by daisydaffodil)
When I was in sixth year, and we were receiving our marks for the higher RMPS prelim. One of the girls was grinning ear to ear as she figured, being a Christian, that she'd have the highest mark in the class, thus meaning she'd get the RMPS prize in school's prize giving ceremony later that year.
She was horrified when, after telling the teacher how pleased she was, the teacher corrected her and said it was actually me who had attained the highest mark by a long shot, and thus it was me who would win the prize...
None of the class were at all happy with me - class of twenty girls and one boy, very bitchy - but I was (secretly) chuffed with myself!
When I won the mock General election at my secondary school + sixth form. I was the only person in my party, everyone else had two or more people. And we had a live debate kind of like the ones they televised and everybody was so impressed with my responses. I was just like '
'
I won the thing in the end. -
Re: Those moments when you realise you're awesomeWoah thats seriously awesome! I used to have dreams when I was a kid that I would jump a whole flight of stairs. How long did the pain last in your leg(Original post by worker13)

Re: Those moments when you realise you're awesomeNot very long at all. It was just a bit of pain on the side of my leg that I only noticed way after the jump. I had to figure out why it was hurting then I put two and two together because tbh, the pain wasn't their immediately after the jump. The way I landed probably helped as well. I'm guessing you're trying to determine the pros and cons of jumping off a whole flight of stairs.(Original post by Luxray)

Thinking about it now, it was my confidence that allowed me to land successfully. If I had even a bit of doubt, I would of landed on my neck. It was a very animalistic moment. -
