    The car sighting picture thread
Post pictures of rare, expensive, or awesome cars that you spotted and managed to get a picture of.

Some of these might be quite common in London but I'm not from the UK so Rolls-Royces and Ferraris are still quite rare for me.

    Rolls-Royce Phantom (Toronto, Canada):

    Rolls-Royce Phantom (London, UK):

    Hummer H1 (Toronto, Canada):

    Hummer H1 (Bad Gastein, Austria):

    Ferrari 458 (London, UK):

    Ferrari 360 Spider (York, UK):

    old Rolls-Royce (Rocky Mountains, Canada):

matte black Mercedes G-class AMG (Chicago, USA):

and I have no idea what these 2 are since I know nothing about old American cars, but I spotted these shiny things in Havana, Cuba:

I know I have one of a McLaren SLR Roadster and one of a Maybach 62 (both spotted in Vienna) somewhere, I just need to find them.

I found 2 more on my hard drive.

Lamborghini Gallardo with German license plate in Istanbul, Turkey:

McLaren SLR Roadster with Ukrainian license plate in Vienna, Austria:

    I saw an Audi R8
    Lamborghini Aventador
And a Range Rover with the number plate - '800'
And some Ferrari's - but they're going too fast.

I could never take a photo of someone else's car - imagine if they saw you, they'd think "haha, my car's that amazing random people are taking photos of it!". I wouldn't want to contribute to their big headedness

If you take a walk around some areas in London you can see some great cars. I remember just round the corner from Claridges there was pretty much a whole street full of Rollers and Bentleys all with UAE number plates (a few with parking tickets too :P). Also seen many exotic sports cars around Kensington and Knightsbridge.

On a Mac, I use a tool called iSplash which makes this really easy. It automatically opens the photo in black and white and you just use a brush on the parts of the image where you want to have the original colours back. It only takes one or two minutes.

I'm sure there's something similar on Windows.
