Do examiners check the 'Additional Answer Space' page?
So, for my Sociology exams, I ran out of space for my essays so i had to use the 'Additional Answer Space' page at the back of the exam to write the conclusions (although I was unable to finish the conclusion to my Education essay as the time was up). I put the page number in the margin. The thing is, I'm worried that the examiners may not look at the page. Also, because my writing is big, I ran out of space on the dotted lines and had to write underneath them. I didn't write outside of the box though. Is this bad?

I don't think would they provide the additional paper if they weren't going to look at it As long as your writing is legible there shouldn't be a problem.

As far as I know they have to mark every page of the paper to confirm that they have seen and read anything that is on it. You'll be fine.

Writing outside of the box may only be a problem if they scan the papers in to mark, rather than receiving hard copies.

Yeah but do they scan Sociology exams as it's written. I know the Maths and Science exams are scanned.

Let me get this straight - they provide an 'additional answer space' - so you have more space to write if needed. You wrote in said space because you needed it. You're worried about what exactly? Doing what they said you can do or...? As far as I can tell, you've used it for the correct purposes...or maybe I'm missing something here?

Yes, but I think examiners can request hard copies. I really wouldn't worry about it, you couldn't have written very much outside of the lines anyway, there's not that much room. Additional answer space is fine.

Well, that's good to know. Also, there's a big space after the set of dotted lines provided, and I wrote in that space as I needed to continue my answer. It wasn't outside the box though. Is that ok? I'm just really worried, I just want to pass Sociology.
