Ahh I'm as nervous as ---- for this exam :O, hows everyone else feeling?

Since this was a retake for me and ive done B7, i found it rather easy even with only a few days of revision... many questions were repeats of questions in past papers really...

So what did you guys put for some of the answers? Like for the zygote one i put organelle increase, strands separate, copies separate (I think). And then for the letters i think i put E, D, C? I'm not sure. And what about the auxin one?

Zygote one the answers were: increase, separate, and then the strands divide
I believe the answers were all the letters, because the cell cycle shown basically was mitosis

Auxin one you just had to talk about auxin gathering on the shady side, elongating causing the shoot to grow towards the light.... and then the next answer i put meristem or something

ah no! i put FADCE... another mark lost for me then! i really didnt get the meiosis one... i put double, unzip and seperate :/

I don't think was every letter because organelles increasing isn't mitosis. But i could be wrong, and anyway its only one mark. Plus i forgot to write about how the cells elongate in the auxin answer. Oh well

oh really? well.. i remember i used the one about receptors or something.. it was a final-minute guess out of the once that said chemicals are relased and the one that said something about receptors release chemicals or something... i used the one with receptor...

You know the one about neuron pathways at the end... which people had the correct statements? And was there an outlier or not in the average question..?

I don't thing there was an outlier - i got 80. And then Daniel and Rachel for the neurone one.

Don't worry i'm sure you'll do fine! how have you done on everything else? Like B7, coursework, B123. It can all balance out.

For the question on average, i got 400/5 = 80.

For the question on DNA AND Proteins, was the question asking where they are made? what did u write?

For the question on negative feedback i wrote
a change in the systems results in an action to reverse the change, bringing the system back to its normal state.

Coursework i got 39/40
Only just done B7 and B456 but i thought B7 went quite well...

bet i've messed it all up now though :'(

I put DNA is found in the nucleus and proteins are made in the cytoplasm. What about out you? Now i'm worried it might be chromosome for DNA but it did say where is it found in the cell.
