    long shot bug question
unlikely to get an answer unless theres an insect nerd on here but oh well...

I've been bitten by a gnat-like bug but it was much larger than they normally are and want to identify it. basicly gnats are like less than a cm in size wheres as this was about 1.5 cm

Anyone know what the culprit was?

It looks like a normal gnat bite, but the bug was far larger than any gnat I've ever seen, and regarding to location I was in my garden in Kent
