    Battlefield 3: Premium
So how many of you have got this and do you think it's worth the £30 price?

    I'm getting it soon!

Personally, I think it is. At the end of the day, it saves you money in the long run, gives you early access to the DLC and gives you a whole load of extras for a one off payment. I honestly don't see where the problem is. It's not like they are asking you to pay £30 each year.

True, but still £30. I'll end up getting it just because the close quarters looks ****ing sick. Nothing more that i love than using the shotguns

Still cheaper than the yearly subscription of CoD: Elite
I hear what you're saying. £30 is quite a bit but again, it will still work out cheaper in the long run if you plan to buy all the DLC. I haven't got yet - have to wait to pay day

Is COD Elite an annual subscription or a one off payment and how much is it?

What's bad about it? Also remember that there's more stuff that hasn't come out yet.

it's not that it's bad, just wasn't worth the amount, 39.99 is a whole new game experience, This was simply just a repeat, hence why I didn't buy MW3 instead, I'd rather have saved and waited for star wars 1313 or creed or guild wars 2...

    Why?
personally, it was a let down and wasn't what it was promised to be, in many ways it feels like any dedicated BF fan has been robbed of a good gaming series. Its more like COD than any BF game i've ever played. Don't get me wrong, i like cod, its a fun game but i bought BF for BF, not COD. If I wanted to play COD, i'd have bought COD

I think CoD Elite is about £34.99 for a yearly subscription.

I don't know about anyone else but I really hate it when people say "Oh, Battlefield 3 is just like CoD now." I'm sorry but I just don't see how BF3 is the same as CoD at all. Does BF3 have shoe box sized maps? No. Does BF3 have killstreaks rewards? No. Have all the vehicles been removed? No. Has DICE reduced the graphics down on console versions just so it can run at 60 FPS? No. Have they done away with gun recoil? No. So, I really don't see it.

If someone is going to claim that Battlefield 3 is just like CoD needs to at least be able to back it up with some decent evidence

    Teamwork required to succeed:
    COD---BF3---------------------BC2------------------------BF2------------Arma 2

You need to literally wait for a support to die before you can get ammo from them in most cases.

Btw, 64 players in metro reminds me of shipment in cod4.
