Can you complete my fitness challenge, all in one day (7 hours max), im aiming for 3?
This is what I aim to do this Sunday, on my rest day:

    - Play a full Sunday-league Football match (60 mins; 30 mins a half)

[3 hours starts from here btw]

    - Cycle 35km (warm up)

    - Skipping to get all muscles going (10 minutes solid - then stretch)

    - Weights session: Bench 60kg x 10; 65 x 8; 70 x 6 - followed by dumbbell flies 20 x 10; 22 x 8; 24 x 6

    - 100 pull ups (broken down lol): 10 x 3; 8 x 3; 6 x 3; 4 x 3; 2 x 3; 10 x 1

    - Boxing: 6 x 2 minute rounds on heavy bag with 14oz gloves; 6 x 2 minute rounds shadow box/on light bag with 8oz gloves; 6 x 1 minute rounds with 2.5kg dumbbells

    - Bodyweight workout: 100 press ups; 100 squats; 100 deadlifts (with just the bar); 100 star jumps; 100 burpees; 100 crunches; 100 10m sprints; 100 tricep dips; 100 second plank hold; (pull ups done above)

    - 8km run (5 miles)

    - 2km swim (40 lengths)

I'll take a protein shake in the morning for breakfast along with oats and a banana pre-football. Have a meal of brown rice, lentils and chicken with veg. Wait for it to digest (hour to hour and a half).

Take Jack3d just before I enter gym. Complete everything in 3 hours. Then take another protein shake immediately after.

Is it a lot to do in a single day? Is it even possible? I want to try and become one of the fittest and most athletic men in Britain lol - hence i'm going to try and test my fitness, stamina, strength, endurance and will-power all in one single day, and being on a strict routine, it has to be my rest day.

Will anybody else give it a go?

    Rest day?
Lol, yeah. I already have a strict plan of run twice a week (preparing for marathon), box twice a week (preparing for career as pro-boxing), and swim twice a week (just to keep full-body active), where Sunday's are my rest day.

I've not tried this before, and I may be naive to take on such a lot, but I really want to push myself. But at the same time, keep my discipline. Now I know on my rest day I should be resting, and not doing more than I probably do on my non-rest days, but i'm determined to become an athlete, or atleast notable for my incredible levels of fitness by the age of 24. Also, i'm taking Jack3d to pump me and motivate me to complete the entire day.

If I complete this, I will be really proud of myself. I will know then I can dedicate my life to fitness. I can set myself goals and think "Mo Farah, Mark Cavendish, Ricky Hatton or Chris Hoy, couldn't complete ALL of what I just did, that's quite impressive; yes Mark and Chris would cruise the X (where X = 100+)km cycling, but could they then box 18 rounds? Yes, Hatton could box the 18 rounds, but then could he go and do 100 pull ups straight and run 20km and lift X and Y kg? Sure Farah could run 20km, but could he then bench X and Y, swim Zkm?"

I might just be a deluded kid at the age of 20. But from my teens i've changed already. I used to do next to no exercise. I was once probably Lord knows how many stone. And now i'm sort of happy with myself. I've seen my level of fitness improve. But i'm still nowhere near the level of fitness of Floyd Mayweather, or Lance Armstrong - and until I get there, try stop me.

    Have a good day, Sir.

If you even make it to the swimming part, given it's last, enjoy getting rescued by the lifeguards when you completely run out of your last bit of energy and commence drowning.
There is just no way you'll have the energy for all this stuff, unless you're half-arsing the whole lot. I don't know how much Jack3d does for you but I find it unlikely that it'll get you through all of that. Not to mention you'll get injured. You can't become an athlete by taking a two-week injury break every time you do a workout.

As for training for a marathon - you need to be running more than twice a week.

Surely comparing yourself to Ricky Hatton, or Chris Hoy is a moot point since they have no need to train for the others and in their individual discipline they would be doing it better
The closest athletic comparison would be people who compete in tri-athlons? Maybe even iron man ones

I'm actually doing a Half-Marathon first. Surely running twice a week for that should be okay?

As for the swimming thing, yeah that's where it might get tough. But my aim is to complete it. Even if I swim at a length a minute after rest, I don't care. I want to complete it. And I will do.

    Thanks.

And why? You can see how determined I am to become an overall full-body specialist athlete. Why would I ditch my plan? What if people told Hoy to ditch the bike Pre-Athens? What if people told Bolt never to run and get an office job? What if people told Amir Khan to own and run a kebab shop?

Amir Khan is one of the fittest men in Britain. I wish I was Khan. But i'm not. And I won't give up until I am, and reach atleast his level of fitness.

Lol, if you think that's the peak of my journey, you sir, are largely mistaken.

By the age of 24, in one single day, or one single 3-7 hour session, I aim to [post 90 minute full-length football match], do the following:

    - Cycle 100km (warm up)

    - Skip for 20 minutes then stretch

    - Weights: Bench 100 x 15; 100 x 10; 100 x 5

    - 100 pull ups solid - or 2 x 50 but very quickly

    - 12 x 3 minute boxing fight/spar with top amateur trying to become pro (I should hopefully be a full time pro-boxer and amateur coach by then)

    - 10km row

    - Bodyweight workout posted in the OP but all in one go!

    - 21.1km run

    - 2km swim

    - Down 6 pints in 6 minutes

Now all of that, I agree, I cannot do. And it will take me 3 years of solid training to get to a level of fitness where I can do that. Extreme dieting. Extreme mixture of cardiovascular exercise, strength training, conditioning, variable heart rate training, but all of that dedication will be put in to complete the above in a 7 hour (max) period.

What I intend to do on Sunday is a joke in comparison. There's a massive difference between doing 10 pull ups and doing 100 solid. There's a massive difference between cycling 35km and 100km. There's a massive difference between running 8km and 21.1km. There's a massive difference between boxing 6x2 minute rounds and 12x3 minute rounds.

Rome wasn't built in a day. And nor will my body. My life. My world. I will spend a solid 3 and a half years until my 24th birthday.

If somebody was willing to film just a normal bloke trying to do a fairly difficult exercise feat, i'd be happy to let them.

Whether it was put on Youtube and got views or not. I'd benefit from it myself as i'd learn from my mistakes, see where I was slowing down, losing energy/motivation.

The only time I ever do that is Boxing - I spend a lot of time watching and analysing footage. But that's because it's sort of my job. However, it'd feel a bit weird somebody filming me running in the park, doing pull ups or swimming lol. Not that i'd mind, might motivate me to work harder!

I'm usually not for treading on peoples toes or calling them out, but as I'm just getting back into exercise and fitness myself, I've been reading the fitness forum a lot more.

How is it 2weeks ago, you run 5km in 30minutes according to: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show...896&highlight=

But 2weeks later, you seem to want to do a 35km cycle, 8km run and 2km swim, not to mention everything else in between that you've listed in 3 hours. I call troll on this one, and it's not usually I do as I'll keep my nose out, but why post a 3hour aim when there is posts from you a short 2weeks ago contradicting everything.
