I'm usually not for treading on peoples toes or calling them out, but as I'm just getting back into exercise and fitness myself, I've been reading the fitness forum a lot more.

How is it 2weeks ago, you run 5km in 30minutes according to: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show...896&highlight=

But 2weeks later, you seem to want to do a 35km cycle, 8km run and 2km swim, not to mention everything else in between that you've listed in 3 hours. I call troll on this one, and it's not usually I do as I'll keep my nose out, but why post a 3hour aim when there is posts from you a short 2weeks ago contradicting everything.
Firstly, like I said, I haven't ever tried this. Infact you know what, **** Sunday, i'll try it today.

Yes, a few weeks ago I was running 5km in just short of 30 minutes. Now, i've already improved that time to 20 minutes. Today so far i've had Bran Flakes, i'm going to make some Sphagetti and protein source soon. I'll take a shake pre-gym, and Jack3d in the gym, and then attempt everything [minus the football since matches are only on Sunday].

I'm not saying I will complete it all comfortably, and probably not in 3 hours, but I will push myself to finish, even if it takes 5-7 hours and regardless of my rest times inbetween, i'm going to finish.

I shall set off at 1 after my sphagetti has digested. Feel free to try it with me if you have the day off.

You think running up and down a school/uni gym or a dance studio 100 times sprinting the entire way is easy? Try that alone, nevermind all the rest...

If by some miracle you finish, you will be incapacitated for some time. There's pushing yourself, and there's punishing yourself pointlessly.

Why is it pointless? If I can achieve a fitness feat which nobody else on this forum, nor my mates, and probably not even some professional athlete's can achieve, surely that's a massive achievement and nowhere near pointless?

Wouldn't take much training to be able to do it....not like I would want to do it.

The bike ride and them swimming will take most the time. The gym stuff is easy.

Actually scrap that, It would be pretty damn tough to do. I actually definitely can't see you doing it in 3 hours. The bike ride is an hour plus, the swim probably is as well, running 30 mins plus easily...that lives you 30 mins for the gym stuff, which you would struggle on pull-ups alone, yet alone all the dips and the easy crap.

I'm giving it a go today. I agree it will be pretty tough. But hopefully Jack3d will keep me going.

Have 5 hours as your target. How long you reckon the swim will take, I'm crap at swimming so find it hard to judge.

My aim isn't time. My aim is to complete it. Yeah it'll probably be 5 hours realistically. Swimming will be an hour if I do it last. Probably half or just under if I do it first.

All of my 'normal' routines have been toned down i.e. I can do way more than 10 pull ups, I can bench way more than 60kg, I can run more than 8km, but it's all in moderation to create an ULTIMATE fitness challenge!

..You want to become a pro boxer with training just twice per week? You clearly don't want it enough.

10m sprints are pretty pointless, that's like the distance you usually take to accelerate in a 100m sprint. Do 10x100m instead, and there might be some point in it.

And all this talk about how this would be such a feat of human endurance and power and blahblah, and then you're "hoping the jack3d keeps you going"? Lame.

But definitely want to see a video of this.

Lol, hard work = top rewards.

I want to be as fit as an athlete. I have to work hard every single day. If I took days off and just chilled like the rest of you, i'd have a beer belly later in life.

**** that. I'm never going to be overweight ever again. I'd rather be built, sexy, and arrogant, even if it does require hard work, a solid diet, than fat, humble and at risk of diseases.

Lol, please come to one of my training sessions and then try to do it more than once a week, before you talk. Also fyi, I do it 5 times a fortnight, 3 times on one week, twice on the next.

Alongside that, I do running on two other days a week, and swimming on the others (less-intensity swimming on my rest day).

It's probably more like 15m, but trust me they aren't pointless. Do it 100 times once and see how it feels. Please try before you talk.

You know what, let me try it today. If I complete it, i'll get it recorded and posted on here. **** haters, i'm going to become dench

    Troll.

Everyone knows that the two most important elements for gains are: nutrition and rest. Overtraining is simply going to have a detrimental affect on any possible gains, if anything you're worse off training like that on your rest days (that's if you're training properly throughout the week.)

Name me one negative thing about my nutrition? Or one time I mentioned how much I sleep at night?

This is not something I will do on EVERY rest day. This is something i'm doing once. As a challenge. As a test. To see exactly how much my body has improved.

Please keep the hate and "you can't do it" comments coming. It will only motivate me to work harder and prove you people wrong.

Not like I need more motivation to transform myself further, but let's 'ave it! Can't wait to go gym at 2.30 now. Going to stay there until 7.30, and come back for the game this evening.

I could probably do this okay.

I really don't want to do this. For a start, I hate playing football.

Tell me where in my post I criticised your nutrition or sleeping habits? Surely you should be viewing your physical improvements everytime you step into the gym or go for a run, everytime I add a plate to my lifts (that's all I need to know that I am improving.) Putting yourself through such a 'challenge' is silly, though each to their own I suppose. Either way your arrogance is beyond beleivable.

This is what I aim to do this Sunday, on my rest day:

    - Play a full Sunday-league Football match (60 mins; 30 mins a half)

[3 hours starts from here btw]

    - Cycle 35km (warm up)

    - Skipping to get all muscles going (10 minutes solid - then stretch)

    - Weights session: Bench 60kg x 10; 65 x 8; 70 x 6 - followed by dumbbell flies 20 x 10; 22 x 8; 24 x 6

    - 100 pull ups (broken down lol): 10 x 3; 8 x 3; 6 x 3; 4 x 3; 2 x 3; 10 x 1

    - Boxing: 6 x 2 minute rounds on heavy bag with 14oz gloves; 6 x 2 minute rounds shadow box/on light bag with 8oz gloves; 6 x 1 minute rounds with 2.5kg dumbbells

    - Bodyweight workout: 100 press ups; 100 squats; 100 deadlifts (with just the bar); 100 star jumps; 100 burpees; 100 crunches; 100 10m sprints; 100 tricep dips; 100 second plank hold; (pull ups done above)

    - 8km run (5 miles)

    - 2km swim (40 lengths)

I'll take a protein shake in the morning for breakfast along with oats and a banana pre-football. Have a meal of brown rice, lentils and chicken with veg. Wait for it to digest (hour to hour and a half).

Take Jack3d just before I enter gym. Complete everything in 3 hours. Then take another protein shake immediately after.

Is it a lot to do in a single day? Is it even possible? I want to try and become one of the fittest and most athletic men in Britain lol - hence i'm going to try and test my fitness, stamina, strength, endurance and will-power all in one single day, and being on a strict routine, it has to be my rest day.

Will anybody else give it a go?
you will not be eating nearly enough calories to half of that.
and one protein shake will not do much if anything.

it's a bit pointless really mate, if you want to look good train like a bodybuilder.
if you want to be strong train like a powerlifter
if you want to be good at marathon etc.. etc..
