What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
As in average, above average, below average, tries really hard but doesn't do too great or puts in little effort and sails through everything, spent most of sixth form high/drunk or spent most of sixth form slaving away over revision? Any category you think you fall into, post it here.
I think TSR has messed with my head, I'm thrilled with the grades I've achieved so far (in my profile) but TSR standards makes me think they're below average. I'm not that bothered - I get my results for me and for my future, not for anyone else
I tend to do the bare minimum to get by until a couple of weeks before the exams when I become a revision slave, and I've spent most of college working quite hard but having fun at the same time

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
I'm one of those students that have high hopes and intentions about where I want to go in life, but I'm just lazy so coast through most of the year doing nothing. I achieve well in tests, then when it comes exams, I only revise like a week before and still get A's/B's.
I need to break the habit, get into working more for my benefit.
Would class myself as the 'Lazy Lucky One.' -

I wouldn't say I party 24/7 but I do drink if I go out. But I don't either spend my life in books. If I look at my grades in context J'm well above average infact I have the highest prospects of all my family. On TSR however i'm extremely inferior and compared to them I may aswell be classed as special needs

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
I do no revision at all and got good GCSEs and will more than likely get BBB at A-Level, that's what kind of student I am! Put it this way if I tried I'd get well above average results but I just rely on natural ability because I'm so lazy. Lolzzzzzzz

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
Far too lazy for my own good, such as tonight, i'm playing tennis but I have a business exam tomorrow morning! I guess deep down I really don't want to try because academic things bore me and up to AS level they just felt really easy.
Noticed the difference in A2 though! Grades were pretty awful in January but that still doesn't motivate me to revise. However, i'm happy with who I am and I wouldn't trade it if I could

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
Without sounding too modest or too full of myself, and just being honest with myself instead...
In terms of natural intelligence, I'm probably average. No such natural born genius, but not the opposite either. I work hard to achieve results which are only slightly above average.
It depends what you count average as really. For example, at my college average A levels would be ABB or thereabouts. I think I might get something like AAA or A*AB, so in that sense I'm only just above average, but in another college the average set might be BBC in which case you might class my grades as quite a bit above average.
I'd probably sum myself up as: student who achieves between average and slightly above average results with hard work and a lot of luck thrown in. -

I am the guy who knows my stuff but I just do really badly at exams I cant really cope with pressure and have horrible exam technique although it has improved massively.
I don't work very hard however sometimes the stress hard work adds really wears me down and I do worse overall I am above average and have always been classified by people as intelligent at least in conversation and in class exams just well don't do me justice but that is life.
I would say:

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
During my GCSEs I was an average student (specifically in maths because I had no interest in it at all) although I did well in humanities subjects. For AS I worked my backside off because I'm doing my A Levels through self-study and if I didn't work hard and revise seriously I would just end up with Ds.
