drink erry day, extreme lack of sleep, never revise, low attendance
GET As
Jesus just loves some of us a little bit more. -
I'd say I'm average. I get As and Bs but I do try really hard. But being on this site makes me feel like I'm not good enough.(Original post by madders94)
As in average, above average, below average, tries really hard but doesn't do too great or puts in little effort and sails through everything, spent most of sixth form high/drunk or spent most of sixth form slaving away over revision? Any category you think you fall into, post it here.
I think TSR has messed with my head, I'm thrilled with the grades I've achieved so far (in my profile) but TSR standards makes me think they're below average. I'm not that bothered - I get my results for me and for my future, not for anyone else
I tend to do the bare minimum to get by until a couple of weeks before the exams when I become a revision slave, and I've spent most of college working quite hard but having fun at the same time

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
I'm more hardworking than intelligent, which has accounted for my grades so far... very worried about getting to uni and not being able to get my head round any concepts (though not as worried as I am about getting the uni grades in the first place
)
I really envy people who can just fart out amazing work with almost no effort. -
Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
I do well exams but I wouldn't class myself as intelligent at all- I think doing well in exams and intelligence are very different. Like give me an exam and a textbook to revise from and i'll do okay but ask me about politics, history, geography in general and I'm useless.

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?my life.(Original post by Thatstudentdude)
I'm one of those students that have high hopes and intentions about where I want to go in life, but I'm just lazy so coast through most of the year doing nothing. I achieve well in tests, then when it comes exams, I only revise like a week before and still get A's/B's.
I need to break the habit, get into working more for my benefit.
Would class myself as the 'Lazy Lucky One.' -
Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
I'm the type of person who isn't clever but due to a mixture of luck, hard work and being good at answering exam questions appears clever.
I'm sure that when i get my C2 result back and compared to everyone else on TSR this opinion will be obliterated. -
Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are? This.(Original post by foodnom)
not particularly clever but get good grades because I spend hours revising. -
Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?A lot of people say they get As because it's down to luck. I read in a book that people who say they are "lucky" and "survived through GCSEs And AS/A levels" are actually smarter than they think.(Original post by 101101)
Up untill now iv been the student who consistently achieves A's despite doing little work, however i feel this luck will fail me tomorrow with C4 -.- -
Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
I'm that student that is always going against the odds and riding his luck by just scraping by.
For example I won't revise and then it will appear I don't have enough time to learn everything for a good grade before the exam, I just about cram it in and manage to pull off a bit of luck in the exam and always get what I need nothing more or nothing less. -
Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?
I'm not a student anymore, but when I was I'd say I was below average. Even though I achieved top grades in my school (my college was crap and maybe 2 people in a year group achieved above a C at A level) I never had the patience for it. I attended maybe 2 days a week out of 5 in my last year. I skipped classes I hated, and if I slept in I stayed at home all day even though I lived 5 minutes away. I suffered with depression which didn't help but I was too lazy and drank way too much to bother with college.

Re: What "Sort" of student would you say you are?Average, I don't put in any near enough work because I'm too lazy. I do intend to try really hard for A2 now though, hopefully that will make up for my indifferent behaviour this year (after I redo a module or two).(Original post by madders94)
