Re: Q about re-marksAbsolutely no chance(Original post by Cythreill)
Is there absolutely no chance of a remark if you miss the JCQ deadline?
Thanks -
Re: Q about re-marksNot unless your school has negotiated an extension because there is evidence that the marking is suspect on a paper.(Original post by Cythreill)

Re: Q about re-marks
Well it's just that my History teacher said my mark was quite harshly marked. I thought I should of asked for a re-mark but it was too late by that point.
I am not aware of any negotiation for an extension because I had never asked for one because, as I said, by the time I was told I had been harshly marked, it was too late.
Is it possible for a negotiation for an extension to happen this late? -
Re: Q about re-marksNot a chance- we're talking about a few days extension here, not months. The negotiation normally takes place within the re-mark window - e.g. 4 papers have gone up on remarks, so you send another few off to make the number required to trigger a mass re-mark but it's doubtful you'll get the results before the re-mark deadline so you get the board to agree that if they do go up then they will do the mass re-mark even if it is after the re-mark window.(Original post by Cythreill)
