Could I perhaps have a response on how I look(I'd be willing to send a picture via PM) and if you do, please could you be as harsh as possible and tell me what I can improve on? ie: please don't say that I'm 8/10 when in reality, I might be like 3 or 4 points below

Oh, and what ratio do girls tend to have for say personality/looks?

you can email me yaar I'll give you an asian girl perspective. I am sure you'd look nice but the main is personality. I'd say 70% personality, maybe 10-20% looks/common values..depending on the girl. Personality would mean being confident, having good sense of humour, being caring and loving..a good listener. Other factors decicing liking include sharing similar values/relationship goals. This works for asian girls..but of course i can't speak for all girls. Or maybe not all asian girls either but for many personality is way ahead of looks. They aim for a relationship to be a lifelong thing so if that is the case personality always lasts longer than looks.

You can PM me your photo if you want an honest assessment

Don't listen to guys who say you need to act like a jerk to get girls..they prob get jerk like girls in return. This doesn't work for asian girls who are more into personality than muscular looks (or whatever the new trend is).

Girls in general play hard to get but more so with asian girls because of reputation and what others might think or they might come across as desperate etc. The fact she giggles and gets nervous when you were the topic of conversation is a sign she likes you. A girl probably expects the guy to pursue her and confirm that there is liking between them then..and only when they are really sure the guys likes them do they make their feelings known.

While asian guys and girls might not be that superficial asian families are quite superficial...and since we are part of a collectivist culture our families opinion counts for more then it should. Parents always want to make sure that their daughter gets a guy who deserves her and the guy's parents always think the girl isn't good enough. That can cause a bit of conflict..so its also important to win over the family. the fact you're Pakistani and Muslim give you an advantage in winning her over.

I guess it's variable..it depends on the individual asian girl. I guess girls who are very attractive and have lot of choice probably place more value on looks but i think most asian girls, even really attractive ones place more value on personality.

Well, firstly I'd like to say that I'm quite flattered and secondly, as for Indians I only really knew one guy, who sort of kept himself to himself and well basically I only knew him from college and I've not seen him since then

ok this isnt lookwise but another helpful thing i think would be to get some asian female mates to get to know her and her taste in guys and then with time they can vouch for you. Or if you dont have mutual friends...maybe you can get an asian female friend to strike up a friendship..obviously a genuine one. Sometimes girls will think things but wont tell guys because they are unsure, dont know how it sounds like but they will tell other girls.
With girls and especially asians what others in their friendship group think is a little important.

Thanks, I suppose. I get what you mean, but I suppose to find the non rudeboy types, try looking at university students? From what I've seen, most people at uni seem to be a bit more mature. You still get them of course. Or perhaps, those that are seeking an apprenticeship, or further qualifications? - probably not your average Asian car mechanic though. I don't wish to generalise. I know some good/bar car mechanic type people, and I suppose the people that aren't so much the "rudeboy" types are a bit more "Westernised"

I see what you're getting at, but I just want to look my best/be my best around her, to well impress her. Also, she added me on facebook now, instead of the other way around It also seems that we do actually have some mutual friends which I didn't know of lol
