    Adding Multiple Vectors
    Hi

I know to sum vectors we can add them head-to-tail and draw a resultant vector. If I had three vectors described as:

    (1) - 2cm length / 20 degree angle
    (2) - 3cm length / 40 degree angle
    (3) - 1cm length / 10 degree angle

Do I always draw the angles with respect to the x-axis and simply join them end to end? Or do I draw the angle dependent on the axis of the last vector? Thank you!

Angle with respect to the x-axis.
Remember that moving the vectors head-to-tail is a translation, and thus doesn't change the rotation/argument.
