    Adjustment for Mature Students...
I've had a search though the forums about Adjustment and haven't managed to find the answers to my questions... so hopefully someone may have some suggestions!

I've been doing an Access course, which is moderated throughout the year so that we can keep a tally of our results. I went into college today to 'sign off' my portfolio and it was confirmed that I have 54 distinctions out of a possible 54. My Firm offer is 12 distinctions, and my Insurance is 9... so I've clearly beat my offers. Will I also have the option of Adjustment? And does that only appear once your uni knows your results?
We're supposed to get our certificate in the first week of August, so does that mean that if I am allowed to take part in Adjustment, i'll be able to do it from that first week of August?
    Thanks!

    Yes

It appears once your firm choice changes to unconditional, so when the uni acknowledges that you've met the offer. (You can't use Adjustment if it was an unconditional offer, which doesn't apply to you, just mentioning it to avoid confusion for anyone else reading this.)

No, Adjustment doesn't start until August 16th.

Thank you kindly! I shall twiddle my thumbs until then! lol
Oh, last thing, - could I at least contact my Adjustment uni before that date and ask them of the likelihood of gaining a place? As I do know my results? Or will they not consider me until the date? I tried calling said uni all day today to ask these questions but they didn't pick up!

No harm in asking but it's unlikely that they will know at this stage. If the course is full they won't be able to take you through Adjustment, but they won't know exactly how many people are on the course and therefore if it's full until they get the A level results a few days before August 16th.
