Could Alec and Justin confirm 7th was cancelled on both their lists?
The schedule I received today, along with the offer was headed "Segment: 90-GROUP A & B" and had Tue 7 Aug at 1:1 crossed out in red with the note CANCELLED - just like they highlighted in red other additions to 44 for the OOC. So it's as certain as can be to me that they've cancelled it - sounds like the email may not have gone to all (sound familiar..?)

THanks Alec. Will try to phone tomorrow or else see if our OOC Mass leader can find out.

Westfield closed to shoppers 10 to 5 Sat and Sun unless you have games tickets or accreditation.
Seem in Metro paper this morning.

Weird that our 7th August rehearsal for 90A is at 3 Mills not 1:1 Alec and Justin. Curiouser and curiouser.

Looks like Metro Got it wrong as normal access to Westfield on Sunday. Good job I carry my pass as I may have to pop there on way home.

Can forsee lots of unhappy shoppers too!

So, Thursday's rehearsal for the 63's has been cancelled as well as the 65's. We were obviously so blooming fierce in yesterday's monsoon conditions that we don't need the extra rehearsal!

We are there on Saturday and Monday. I guess this means that our first ever full run through will be on the big day itself! Eeek!

We were told unofficially that our call time for show day is likely to be 9am. Others who have a lot of setting up to do have been told 7am. I'm learning to just go with it. The whole day is blocked out and I'll run on sweets and adrenaline that day anyway!

Having had the experience of the opening ceremony its amazing what reserves you have that you can call on! The 41'ers had the longest day as in the stadium from about 5pm to welcome arrivals etc then last to leave and I have a load of Dextrosol to get me through!! The high you get is truly awesome so just go for it and love the moment!
Cannot believe it we will be there again so soon!!

At the moment 80's are at 1:1 all day Sunday,Monday and Thursday and have a relative lie in show day as currently have 10am call.

Will keep checking the e mail tho as things seem to be changing around a lot for the other groups.

Can't wait to find out what you are all doing!! Have only seen snippets of a couple of other groups which were very slick and effective - will look even more so in the proper setting with costumes light and sound.

    Go OCCers!

Fierce? We were all absolutely drenched at 1:1. I personally was getting hacked off by the constant "Rain Jokes" by certain individuals over our ear pierces who were in the dry (ahem). A certain "person" (we all know who), when the sun was shining at the beginning of the rehearsals, did their usual thing of jinxing it and that was when the heavens opened.

We nailed it and even ran right through our entire segment - including a new "group" that joined us yesterday. They even managed to add their "bit" to ours.

It's coming together. One thing that was mentioned yesterday was the constant "drip, drip" of information that we're getting to know about in relation to our segment / section.

Good question, I too would be interested to hear from the "Openers" in relation to this as I'm planning to drive myself - if not all of the way there but part of the way.

Yes - there was. Limited edition of 10000 and was only available at the Stadium that night. They were £12 but suspect going for more on eBay.

Mola - great news for sis! Congrats!

They were also available online on opening day. There is also a twin opening and closing pack to be made available. Coca Cola also issued one. Both fetching inflated prices on ebay. Wait a few months to buy from there as, historically prices fall a lot once games over.

Still not got mine but will be sure to get a couple of Closing ones.

I know, I was there in the group right next to yours on the left

Personally, we were all too busy screaming and laughing at the rain to let it get to us. Even when I got a faceful of water using a certain prop in our first song.

Bringing a change of clothes tomorrow!!
