    Hello everybody,

I have been asked and accepted a dance role in the Paralympics Opening Ceremony AS WELL as my current role in the Opening Ceremony. I'm going to be in Segment 87-Group A. Anybody here is that group?

The good news is AT LAST I managed to remember e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g in terms of what we're doing. It most probably the constant rehearsing again and again......and again.....and again that it FINALLY registered in my ole brainbox.
Well it is the telly tubbies you're re-enacting is it not? Again, again, again !!!

Going to have to bite the bullet today and will have to book whole of 19 and 20th off. Losing money as well as no work on pay! 2 emails and one text, all marked urgent, have produced no response!
Not good - commiserations indeed !

I must have the gods on my side at the moment, after sadly turning down my role in the OOC (would have missed more than 2 rehearsals) I have been offered a role in 98-WHIRL in the POC which I'm so chuffed with! My first rehearsal is next week!! Will I meet anyone from TSR next week? Can anyone, obviously in private, fill me in and get me briefly up to date? I'll have missed two rehearsals and I'm bricking it that I've got loads to catch up on!

I actually know the lady and I am not too surprised - don't want to say more on a public forum but she is a 44er but not in my main group. Wonder if she will be there next rehearsal......and whatever else she has tweeted in the past.

i think i've put a few pounds ON! but its muscle/fata conversion.

today was the first day i felt the benefit of it all rather than just feeling shattered

we have a rest day today.

I'm hoping that when we have the all groups together we may get a glimpse of the other sections, we wont at the DR's themselves but presumably there will be more all group run throughs than the public ones
I have lost a few pounds and according to several friends am significantly trimmer- not really surprised with the nature of our role not to say the amount of walking to and snaking round the stadium. Sometimes feel I have done a workout before I start on the FOP!

    Hello everybody,

I have been asked and accepted a dance role in the Paralympics Opening Ceremony AS WELL as my current role in the Opening Ceremony. I'm going to be in Segment 87-Group A. Anybody here is that group?

So I'm going to be doing rehearsals for both ceremonies simultaneously for a while (in fact I have to miss one Para rehearsal because it clashes with the first one), and then all through August for the para alone. Delighted that it won't all be over for me once the opening ceremony is over. I love it all so much, I'm thrilled I've now been given another opportunity to extend the experience.

wow congrats! yes we too are losing weight in the 87s! There are quite a few of us from TSR and we've had 2 rehearsals so far! It's a great segment! Wish I had crib notes for you. We've done quite a bit so far but am sure you can pick it up. Maybe get there extra early and ask to be somewhere near the dance captains or review what we've done as yet. There are 300 in 87A and another 300 ins the Bs as far as I can tell, so it's often tricky to see. PM me if I can help with anything else. We have a private group too that I still have to message everyone on it and haven't! Will do!

Agreed. And how stupid to tweet that in your own name. Incidentally, her Twitter page is now gone... but her tweet will stay cached on several index pages. She won't be able to get rid of that quickly.

Also, the Standard link comes up when you Google her name. Not too good when prospective employers look her up, I would say. Guess it's instant karma!

She should be removed from the OC. That would stop further leaks.

LottyC - Congratulations on your POC role especially as you turned down the OOC because you were honest about missing more than 2 rehearsals. I am afraid there are quite a number in my group who have missed quite a few more than 2 rehearsals and are still in. I dont think this is fair in that a rule is a rule. One lady in our group was missing on Sunday because "it's my husbands birthday" - the call was only from 9.00-1.00pm leaving plenty of time for celebrations after the rehearsal I would have thought! But of course in our segment 44 they need the numbers!!!

Looking forward to POC 87A third rehearsal (after a break of nearly 2 weeks). I have just had a little practice in my living room, much to the annoyance of my small terrier as I have been waving his ball thrower around as a pretend prop! Anyway..........in the words of Eric Morecombe I can remember all the moves.... but not necessarily in the right order!

Did anyone from 87A or 87B take any notes and is willing to PM me? It can be very brief - it would just be good to practice things in the right order.

May see some of you tomorrow.

I will be the one doing the right moves at the wrong time!

I don't know whether the other papers are just slow as only one has released this info but it's also sad to see that the ES felt the need to pick up on the tweet and tell everyone. How many followers did she have? Probably not as many as the ES has readers.

Can still get into her twitter but nothing on it since July 7th or before 2nd July... She has 145 followers and has sent out 711 tweets

Are you sure it's tomorrow? According to the schedule sent to me today for POC 87A, the next rehearsal is Wednesday 11th.
