Has anyone heard about when we may be getting our guest tickets for the DR on the 25th? I'm sure they said it would be this weekend!

we heard through the grapevine that it would be this week! The 41'ers have had a few drop outs so I think they are using the tickets as carrots to make sure we keep coming! I will be coming regardless as having a ball! Think I saw you today, wearing orange???

    Hi,
I have a very big confusion and I thought somebody might help me.
First of all, is tomorrow the first rehearsals for the paralympics ceremonies?
I have got my last email of confirmation for the role in may, mentioning the rehearsals date, and though I sent my letter of acceptance afterwards, I haven't heard a single thing from the ceremonies team.
I am supposed to be in 90-GROUP-A.
And it is said that rehearsals start tomorrow at 5:30 pm.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Would be of great help if you have any information related to first rehearsals. Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!!!

Concord...As you're all Pros, and you all pick thing up really easily, Could you guys just not come join in the marshalling. That way you can still be in the Olympics =]

Such a shame for you guys.. And so close to the actual performance as well... Just makes me want to slap anyone that complains about ours now...

Yes there is first rehearsal for 90a at 3 mills tomorrow at 5.30! Offered a place just a couple of days ago but there have been quite a few changes to rehearsals - 6 added and 2 cancelled.

Orange laces, yes! I'm one of the "sheep dog" marshals!

I was so high on cloud 9 that I'm not sure I spotted anyone... I am so so happy at making it onto the FOP in a great position. Doing our little dances today with the sun out and the music blaring was amazing! I didn't even notice Mum of Students until she almost waved her hand in front of my nose!

Concord, really sorry to hear. While the 49 segment is quite busy, there's still some space here and there, they could integrate your bits into that sequence.

And I fully support Caroline27's suggestion - they are athletes, surely the 51 mashers can speed them up!!

Nice rehearsal tonight, I bumped into more TSRers than ever before, that was good! I'm getting excited about my final position - epic.
I think I spotted you sitting about two blocks away from me in the upper seats, but not sure. I do envy anyone taking part in the athletes' parade section - you will have a stunning extreme close-up view of the world's very best athletes - wow. Somehow the stadium looks much bigger on television but in real life it feels surprisingly intimate.

Just sad to hear people were giving the CCs grief about not having much to do today. I know I moan a lot about too, but letting it out on them is just not on!
Well, it did have some effect. Have a very late (post-midnight) email from the CCs with all of our missing timings, some FAQs to say that dress rehearsal tickets will be handed out on Wednesday and thanking us for patience and waiting around.

And current long-range weather forecast from accuweather is looking promising (although we'll be damp from 3 dress rehearsals with 'periods of rain'

You looked SO on cloud 9 doing your stuff - you didn't even notice me TWICE when I paraded past as a stand-in! We're all really having a ball now .... it's great!
