Unfortunately, there's a 80% chance that it will suck.
What's happening, Pixar had a reputation of doing amazing, single movie franchises. The problem is that they'll be trying to recreate the same magic of the first film. I expect Mike will be crack-a-joke-a-second until we want to hit him. -

Re: Monsters inc. sequal, Monsters University trailer.Yeah, but even Toy Story had a hiccup in the 2nd film. But I think Toy Story had a lot more grounded characters with deeper personalities, whereas Mike and Sulley are pretty basic.(Original post by TurboCretin)

Re: Monsters inc. sequal, Monsters University trailer.Hmm, I'm not blown away. Does it have the basic heartwarming story at it's centre? It seems a bit desperate. I'm kind of hoping this is one of their "jokes" and the real plot will be revealed closer to the time!
