Well it does considering I live in a small home with 3 other family members, am not from a particularly wealthy background, and it is difficult to look after animals.

Stephen Fry is loved by pretty much everybody in the Western - and Eastern - world, so 99% is quite a lot of humanity. I'm not sure what you have against him, but you really are showing up your intelligence...

Nothing he has ever done has really suggested he is extraordinary. As a comedian he is mediocre unless he latches onto someone far superior to himself. His books are rather basic and not what I would call brilliant. He is just an all round middle of the road, perhaps slightly above average, guy. If you consider the start in life he had he has only done reasonably for himself.

The most authentic intellectuals I know, don't feel the need to fan their ego at every possible opportunity. Fry is totally irrelevant to the topic, and that should be fairly obvious given that you have been criticised from people regardless of whether they agree with you about the dog.

The law says "pitbull types" and this dog meets that criteria.

Unfortunate because the dog has done nothing wrong but what else can you do? It is illegal to own this kind.

Blame lies with the breeder. He should face some consequences legally.

But let me contribute positively, if it's an illegal dog it should be put down. I live in a rough area and some guy wearing a balaclava set his illegal dog on me. I actually had to run for my life, I'd rather a few dogs died then I'd have got turned into a few snacks for that dog. If that had happened and I'd have got mauled he would have got a measly two year sentence? We all read those stories about nieces getting mauled by their idiotic uncles dog and surely safety is paramount.
