    BSc to Postgrad Medicine
I've just finished my first year at LJMU doing Biomedical Science after I missed my Medicine offer last summer.

I still want to study medicine after I graduate but I was wondering about how this would work in terms of repayments. Would I pay back my first degree on the old system first, then switch, or would it all be under one repayment system? There's nothing on the SFE website about this.

    Thanks!

You'd be paying back your first degree under the old system; that's the contract you signed when you took out your loan.

As for post-grad medicine, I don't think you'll be eligible for any funding anyway. SFE usually only cover a first degree. I'm not sure about the specifics of funding for GEM, though.

If you do get a second loan, it will be under the terms (thus pay back conditions) of the new system.
