EPQ vs. Nuffield bursary
Hi, basically I just finished my ASs (Maths, further maths, physics, chemistry) and have been offered a place for the Nuffield bursary (4 weeks of work experience where you do a study throughout and write a report on your findings). I will be working for a medical engineering company and I am very excited about it. However, I also intend to do an (EPQ) extended project qualification which is independent study and involves a large write up and presentation. Which of these will be more beneficial to me when applying to university and getting a job in the future? I would obviously love to do both but with now no summer holiday due to the work experience, no Sunday due to part time job and little Saturday as i need to have some social life i will find it very difficult to find time to both. Thanks.
