    Help please :)
Hi I need help with deciding on a uni.

I'm a mature international student and I will be starting a foundation year this September, however I am having trouble deciding on a uni & it would be great help if anyone can tell me more about the uni/program/city for the unis I've been accepted to since I am not able to visit them myself.
    The unis are:
    Exeter
    Bournemouth
    Glasgow
    Goldsmiths
    And St. Andrews

The program is a international foundation program.

    Many thanks!

Have you been to the UK at all?

An International Foundation is usually to prepare you for university study in the UK at university you take the foundation at. If you choose the wrong location, you may find the foundation course is not accepted by other universities, as it is tailored towards the institution you are studying at.

What course will you progress to after the foundation?
    - this will allow you to rank the universities by subject reputation.
    - you could then post specific questions about the university and course. You probably would get more specific information.

    Do you prefer city locations?
    - in which case Glasgow or Goldsmiths
Can you cope with cold, rain and long winter nights?
    - if not then perhaps not Glasgow or St Andrews. Rain is something you expect in the UK. But most of my international friends who have been based in the northern parts of the UK have found the weather difficult to get used to. But it depends on what you are used to.

Your choices range from inner city London busle to isolated and potentially cold wet dark. Consider the climate you are used to and the climate of the university.

At the end of the day, if you like where you study, you are much more likely to be successful.

    Thanks for the replay

Yes I have been to the UK many times mostly to London but also Glasgow and other places but haven't seen Bournemouth, Exeter or St Andrews and wont be able to before i have to choose.

still un-sure on what ill progress to after the foundation

At the end of the day, if you like where you study, you are much more likely to be successful
this is why I'm asking, trying to know more about my choices before i make a decision.
