I'm holding an offer from Surrey for economics and its my firm and my insurance is royal Holloway.
Now I'm likely to get a much higher grade which Surrey requires and really want to go the top 6-7 unis so I'm wondering if i should wait another year or simply go to Surrey?

Also, does Surrey have a good reputation for economics and is it highly ranked? (I know i shouldn't be asking this now but i thought it was :s )

Would like to know what you guys think

There is a system called adjustement, which is basically the opposite of clearing, for those students who exceed their university offers to have a look at 'better' university courses while still holding on to their firm offers. If you exceed your Surrey offer you will automatically be eligible for adjustment.
Have a look on the ucas website or on ucastv on YouTube, they will have more information about it

I'd still say have a look. Surrey is a good uni and you can have a look at adjustment after results. You could always do a master etc at a 'better' uni. Besides, the top unis give out high offers, so the places at adjustment are most likely to be places that become available when people don't make their offer rather than 'spare' spaces
