Help with making the decision..

    Hello all.
Basically, I left school in 2010 and was ready to go to college as normal to study the sciences. My parents are very skeptical on the idea of further education and have always turned their nose up at the notion of me going. After almost 2 years working in IT, I seriously regret not going to college and applied to go this September. The only problem is, I have freedom. I have a car, money, nice clothes, the luxuries that money offers, but if I quit and go to college then I will lose all that. I'm willing to make the sacrifice, but my parents are far from supportive. I've pretty much made my decision, but quitting a job for some years of hard work to achieve the profession i've always wanted (Medicine), is the right choice isn't it?
