No, they havent replied to me. Its my 23rd day. I am going to ring the recruitment/HR department if they go past 28 days. There were a couple of people on here last week saying it was their 28th day but I dont know what happened with them because I havent seen them posting anything else.

If Primark think its a good idea to interview 9000 odd people for 1000 jobs, they should at least make sure they reply to people when they say they will.

Its my 25th day and right now I'm just pissed of tbh. I dont think they would make people wait this long to reject them but COME ON. Most people who they've accepted have probably found somewhere else by now to be quite honest....

Well I went into a room where I handed in my documents and got told to take a seat. There was a video playing on Primark so I watched that.

After that we were taken into another room for a short 10 min presentation about job roles, hours, pay etc.

As soon as that was finished we were taken into another room for our 1:1 interviews.

Some of the questions that I was asked were:

    1) why have I chosen the subject I am studying
    2) What tasks/duties did I do in my previous jobs
    3) Explain a time where I gave good customer service
    4) On a scale of 1-10 how would i rate my communication skills and why
    5) Explain a time where I re checked my work
    6) Explain a time where I worked as a team
    7) Why do I want to work for Primark
    8) What did I like least about my previous workplace and why
    9) Who are Primarks competitors and why

I cant remember if there were any more but those were the main ones.

Anyone who has an interview coming up, my advice to you will be to know what you have put down on your application form as they pretty much ask questions from that. Also, there's nothing to be nervous about, once you start getting interviewed, everything will fall in to place.

My interviewer was really nice and friendly and helped me out at times when I got a bit lost :P

    Good luck for your interview!

I had an interview on the 9th for oxford street. Yesterday i missed a call and tried to call the number back but did not get through. So I googled the number and it wa the primark from wood green. I'm sooo worried I've missed a job opportunity because they have not phoned back and are still not picking up  so I've emailed Oxford street recruitment about it. Hopefully they reply or wood green answers my calls

Just wondering if anyone who has heard something on the 28th day or before could let us know what the results were because I know a lot of us are curious to know if you have actually been contacted by then and if its good news, because if there are lots of cases of people not hearing until the last minute and getting the job then it could be a sign that people who have been waiting for a while are all successful.
    Just a suggestion

Congrats. You waited exactly 28 days right? At least you got something.

I have pretty much 2 days left to wait so I'm really hoping I get an offer :3

I know how you feel. Its really annoying, but Im thinking like you that no news is good news. It would be pretty cruel of them to reject us after all this time. Ive not heard of that happening to anyone as of yet so fingers crossed.

Surely it will be okay after the 28 days to contact them right?

If only I could hack into the HR system and find out everything for us so we wouldn't be such an angry group!

Someone on here was e mailed after 28 days and offered the job (she posted on the primark thread earlier today) I think it was 3 or 4 days after the 28 so dont contact them too soon. Imagine if they were about to offer you a job and then didnt , you would be even more annoyed after all this waiting lol.

Ringing them is a good idea. After I'd had my interview they didn't get back to me for weeks (can't remember how long this was like 2 years ago) so I rang up and it turned out they'd forgotten to contact me but I had the job so definitely worth ringing them up
