I think as a rule of thumb if you don't hear back in two weeks of the closing date or applying then you are usually rejected. I'm sorry.

Most people who've been accepted have heard back within the last week, one even 30 days later.

Also they said they'll reply even if you get rejected so yeah...

    Oh. Fingers crossed then.

This job hunting is so depressing. I've applied for like 70 jobs this last week and have been rejected from everywhere including McDonalds and KFC.

If they offer it to you then accept and come on here and rage.

But who knows, we could both end up getting the job and working together

Are you sure you gave them the right email address? what position did you apply for and what hours did you apply for?

I applied for the position two weeks ago, had an interview this week and got a job offer after only two days of waiting. Thats so weird. It has to be something about your availability.

Hope you get it though, best of luck!

Surely it will be okay after the 28 days to contact them right?

If only I could hack into the HR system and find out everything for us so we wouldn't be such an angry group!
yeahh i think im gonna email them, if they dont reply then im gonna call. cause im tired of waiting, and it will be really annoying to find out that they rejected me after waiting this long

Someone on here was e mailed after 28 days and offered the job (she posted on the primark thread earlier today) I think it was 3 or 4 days after the 28 so dont contact them too soon. Imagine if they were about to offer you a job and then didnt , you would be even more annoyed after all this waiting lol.
but they shouldnt get annoyed if we contact them after 28days because they made us wait too long. if they wer gonna offer a job to us but then didnt just cause we emailed them, there just stupid
and did some get reply after the 28th day 3 or 4 days later

Wow congrats! & yeah I'm sure I have them the right email address because the emailed me before me interview reminding me that I had an interview... They also texted me so I don't think that the email was an issue. I applied for weekend position for sales operative. I think most people applied for that so... I don't know what there doing. I'm only 17 years old so maybe it's got to do with my age?
