holy**** thats awful. how did she actually come to post that. that is possibly one of the cringyest things I have ever read.

I know. I just stared at the screen in total amazement after reading it, stunned at what goes on in the minds of other human beings.

I haven't even read the book and I adore this review. I may actually have to peruse it myself, so I can write an equally irritated review...

I have read a couple of erotica books before and they are nothing like yours. Unlike the others, which seemed to be just about sex,

WHAT?! Erotic books are just about sex?!

It's not my thing but I don't mind the whole idea of it, I just don't get why people think it's okay to read clearly in public!

Oh my God, that was brilliant. The gif at the beginning was the expression I was wearing when I was reading the book:

For me, it isn't the money that I'd waste buying the book; it's the time that I'd waste reading it.

Also, I'm making a stand on not buying it because I really don't want to support it! It's the fastest selling paperback EVER and I do NOT believe that that's right.

basically the hype is that it's the first book to make book porn mainstream, at least for our generation. It's not good erotica by any judgement, but it's the one that women feel comfortable reading as it's popular. that's why in my opinion. I'm glad people aren't so prudish as to cover up that women like erotica, but seriously, of all the erotic fiction to be popularised, it had to be TWILIGHT PORN? it's just a shame that the genre is now represented by this utter crap.
As a man, I find it insulting that the same girls who read this tripe also tell men that watching porn is disgusting
I'm about 100 pages in and it's literally so boring. I don't mind the whole sex thing, but there seems to be no plot whatsoever.
I have only flicked through a few pages but as the review someone linked to above points out, several expressions crop up ridiculously frequently ie inner goddess, "oh my!" and various forms of "holy ****! holy crap!"

Disagree completely. I've read the book, and I watch porn. And I don't tell men that watching porn is disgusting.

There probably better written erotic novels out there. With decent plots. Well written. i still don't understand how people say 'it's an erotic novel, it doesn't have to be written well'. That's like me saying 'it's just normal porn, we don't need a decent camera' or 'it's an action book, who needs it to be written well as long as there's action in it'
Fifty shades of my ****! Notice tht sexy alliteration.

In the book he's described as a god, super handsome, super rich and super sexy in bed. I'd say most women want a man to control them (please don't start with the stalking, crazed man ****) like he does. In the bedroom. I guess he has that control over the readers thoughts too.

Haha - fair play, all you have to is play FIFA and you're set.

Back to the point in question, one of my mates is a proper feminist, against masturbation, porn etc. A real diehard feminist. She reads this ****.

Also I thought this was for older women? It's scarily popular amongst students too.

Haha, that's because its 'mummy porn'! Not. It's just that older women who wouldn't read this usually because its 'porn' have sort of been given the licence to do so by the fact that its so popular, so they all went wild for it. Most girls/women I know have or are in the process of reading it.

Wow. Why would be against masturbation o.o . I suppose tis odd that she reads the book then, but some people read it because they wanna know what the hype Is about, like me.

Allsoooooo, you mean me play FIFA, for porn?

Seriously girls, are most guys so poor in bed / in general that you find a fantasy character so appealing?
