Seeking information about the Royal Navy
    Hey,
I am through to the interview stage of the recruiting process and there are a few things that i don't know or want to learn a little more about befor my interview, such as:
.What (if any) contract must you sign after the first 28day contract you sign at the beginning of basic training is over ?
.I am going in as ETMESM (engineering techincian marine engineer submariner) what would this job involve?

I know a bit of what is going to be asked of me but any other useful information you can give me, i welcome it thankyou

ETMSE...etc.... = Stoker. Your job involves - looking after the engines, starting most of the fires/leaks on the ship, puttin out said fires, plugging said leaks, being the most crazy drunk guy in the room (apart from Chefs- they get pretty rowdy) and generally being an all round good bloke. Everyone loves a stoker, almost as much as they love a chef.
