TSR Green Party
Tired of the government not listening to you?
Sick of the mainstream parties ignoring real issues?
Disgusted at our political system?
Then why not join TSR Green Party?
The banking system
'When it comes to the banking system The Green Party believe the government has acted completely irresponsibly. They have forced us, the tax-payer, to bail out the bankers. ' Like the real Green Party we totally agree with this, tax payers should not bail out irresponsible business interests. The corrupt politicians try to tell us that it is necessary to protect the economy, yet Iceland has emerged with the strongest growth figures across Europe.
Foreign aid AKA bribes
We have seen our foreign aid budget grow year upon year whilst our education and welfare budgets are being attacked from all sides. Don't let the politicians confuse you this is not aid money it does not go towards food or hospitals. It goes into the pockets of foreign businesses and governments then conveniently they end up buying British made tanks or British made planes. These are bribes only recently the British government was having a public tantrum when India decided to buy French planes rather than British ones, looks like the £1 billion per year of British bribes oh I mean foreign aid to India is failing.
Endless wars
The liberals and conservative parties in government all support endless wars in Afghanistan and the middle east. They have no intention of leaving until 'the job is complete', however, they fail to mention that this job is near impossible to complete, and like in the past when they come close to completing it they will simply move the goal posts further.
Tax avoidance
We strictly oppose tax avoidance, the government has refused to make any efforts to close these loopholes and we find this a disgrace. Recently in real life the government has decided to make Jimmy Carr a scapegoat whilst conveniently ignoring their 600m tax waver they made to Vodafone. Lord Ashcroft himself who provided the financial muscle for the Conservative Party campaign was a major tax avoider, which David Cameron remained mysteriously silent about.
A vote for Green is a vote for the future.
We need 10 members to form PM me to sign up now.

Re: TSR Green PartyWe both know as an independent change cannot be accomplished.(Original post by JPKC)
Interesting platform, I agree with it partially. You probably should just wait and stand as an independent in the next election because I don't see this happening. And I hope you're not just appropriating the Green Party's name for some neo-fascist power grab! -

We both know as an independent change cannot be accomplished. -
Re: TSR Green PartyNo I am not qualified to come up with them so I was going to wait for 9 others to sign up so we could collectively come up with them.(Original post by jsb123)

Re: TSR Green PartyInteresting.
I like the Green Party, but I'm not convinced enough to join up due to the the character we have starting this discussion.
Thanks, but no thanks. Good luck to the Greens - I hope to collaborate on bills and motions with you in the future. -
Re: TSR Green PartyI wasn't expecting any established members of other parties joining up, this is going to be a young party full of new blood.(Original post by RoryS)

Re: TSR Green PartyI welcome the creation of a new Green Party in the HoC. However, the sudden change of direction by Internetguru leaves me to assume that this is nothing more than opportunism rather than a genuine desire to resurrect the Greens.

I wouldn't call their environmental policies (or anything else) Libertarian...
And come up green policies. All new buildings should be set to a GREEN standard.
