I'm going to read this thread when I'm feeling down

- The smell of fresh baking.
- Driving on sunny days with my windows down.
- Driving on cold, rainy days with appropriately emotional music.
- Getting Ebay parcels and not knowing what's in them! - LIKE CHRISTMAS!
- Afternoon naps.
- Duvet days!
- The feel of a pile of organised revision papers.
- Peanut butter kit kats.
- Smell of fresh bedding.
- Summer freckles and tanned skin.
- Airports!!
- Showers. ...especially after weekend festivals!
- Days when your face decides to look awesome! (rare, but happens..)
- Mum's cooking after a term of eating junk at uni!
- Lie-ins!
- £0 library fines.
- Seasonal movies at Christmas time - the only thing I enjoy about Christmas, these few years!
- Coming home after a night out, taking my heels off and face-planting my bed!
- Finding a fiver in a bag I had forgotten about.

organising all my folders for the year ahead, with equal numbers of dividers and plastic wallets, clean stationery and a work-hard attitude.

after the first day, it's somethign to look forward to for the next year

- when i'm doing some work and I have pages and pages of notes done and I can be proud that I've done some work
- when I've just painted my nails and they look all glossy and no chips (until I smudge them 10 minutes later )
- payday! it's just great
- listening to my favourite music. I was lying in bed 2 days after Download with my ipod on shuffle and Nothing Else Matters by Metallica came on. Took me back and I relived the whole night
-finding your favourite things on special offer. that's just cool!

Me personally, standing outside in a thunderstorm. I live near a river and I always go down to the shore when there's a storm, just stand in the rain and appreciate it - there's nothing like it! Makes me feel aliveeeee,

Seeing the face of someone you love.

Wanting to wake up.

That moment when the sunlight shines in through your window in the morning, and you know that the day is going to be awesome.

Singing/rapping in the shower.

Listening to my music really loud on the bus, knowing that everyone else is finding it to be terrible. I don't know why, but this is such a liberating feeling.

Hi TSR,

We all know things like flash cars/big houses that peoplpe buy to male themselves happy, however what are those small things that really satisfy you, even if they are completely worthless and small?

For me:

• The warm air that hits you as you get off a plane in a warm country
• getting all the peel of an orange in one go
• swirling your knife around in a new tub of butter and making faces/pictures
• walking down what would be a busy road at three in the morning when it's completely silent
• the feel of pages in a book
• running your fingers along an iron fence, or better a stick and making that noise

I will add more when I think of them. I was just interested if anybody had any similar ppleasures, or any completey different ones? Here's the place to share!

The smell/feel of my clothes out of the dryer ( you can still smell the fabric conditioner mmm ).
The smell of freshly cut grass.
The smell of fresh hay.
The smell of suncream/lotion when you are sunbathing on a nice hot day.
Grabbing your socks out of the dryer and putting them on you when they are still hot ! same for any item of clothing really.
Having a ice cold shower on a hot day.
Having a warm towel to wrap yourself up in after a shower on a cold day.
That lovely feeling of sleeping in fresh bed linen after you have just showered and your skin is all soft again after applying copious amounts of moisturiser.
That feeling when you find your missing t-shirt/hoodie (which you havnt seen in months) in the back of your wardrobe or wherever else ?!
Seeing a picture of yourself you got tagged in and thinking " nice "
Hearing your favourite song come on shuffle or the radio.
Waking up and hearing your ipod docking station playing a class song you havnt heard in ages.
Falling asleep with the window open and listening to the rain while you are all wrapped up and comfy.
When you open the fridge and there is your favourite food/drink all for you
Buying a new pair of vans or a equally nice trainer!
Going to the toilet after you have been waiting for ages, then you feel so good !
Giggling non stop for 5 mins after watching or reading something insanely funny.
Reading those little bits of info in snapple bottles.
Loving the photo's on jones soda bottles.
Seeing my dog go mental after he sees you got a towel after you washed him outside!
Playing in the snow until you feel like your hands/nose/feet will fall off than having a cup of hot chocolate made with milk and there is marshmallows in it.

Anything with bubblewrap around it that needs to be tore off and popped to death
Watching sheldon cooper from the big bang theory.
When you are at the airport collection your luggage and your suitcase is one of the first to come off

Bringing my dogs for a walk than coming back home and sitting down then they sit on my legs and wont let me move.

Hugging people who i love/think alot about but dont get to see them often.
