i loved the old skool classics like saved by the bell, kenan and kel, clarissa explains it all, rugrats, hey arnold, all that, the amanda show, the wild thornberrys, are you afraid of the dark, the fairly odd parents, spongebob, as told my ginger etc but i miss the shows that were more recent that aired a few years ago! like the sleepover club, darceys wildlife, h20: just add water etc
    they were good
what's this true jackson vp, victorious and big time rush craap??

I agree. Nickelodeon was my favourite channel as a kid and I won a Nintendo Game Cube watching Nickelodeon as well.. Others have mentioned some of my favourite shows. Mines were- Sabrina the teenage witch,Saved by the bell,Spongebob,Kenan and Kel,Hey Arnold, Wild thornberries,Fairly odd parents,Jimmy Neutron. All the classics really. The Nickelodeon today is not the same as it used to be.

Ha, thanks fr reminding me of the Angry Beavers. Oscar's Orchestra is one of the greatest programmes of all time.

In fairness, though, I think that kids TV (and most TV in general, come to think of it) has always been pretty ****. It's just a case of looking back at things with rose tinted spectacles.

The issue with 'new' nickolodean is mostly the poor choice of shows.
    apart from avatar
i mean, nowadays i think that cartoon network boasts a great vairety of shows that most other shows don't show, but they like nickolodeon update too slowly. TOO SLOWLY

Every generation has said that kids television "isn't as good as it was in my day".

...however I do agree with you.
With all due fairness, we were probably the first, possibly second generation of kids where a large range of channels became affordable

I'll agree with you also on the first part though. The old Tom & Jerry ie: the original from decades ago is much better than the current ones

I still secretly watch Spongebob and Fairly odd parents. The best modern kids show has to be Phineas and Ferb though. I actually quite like it

Seriously what happened to the days of rugrats? Hey Arnold? Keanen and kel? Sister Sister and loads of other great shows. It don't know about you but i really makes me sad when nowadays Nickelodeon is full of cra* like 'icarly' and 'Victorius' for example. The only suriving one is 'Sponge Bob.' Who else agrees that Nickelodeon isn't the same as it used to be?!. If only the old Nickelodeon was back for this generation as shows like them were worth watching and had quality. Sorry about the element of rant here im just wondering if anyone thinks the same.
You just think that because of nostalgia.

I watched Kenan and Kel on Youtube a few months back and got about 5 minutes in before I had to turn it off because it was that cringeworthy.

I liked Hey Arnold a lot though, that was a good, non-childish cartoon.

The Ministry of Curious Stuff on CBBC (with Vic Reeves) is like a throwback to that 90s heyday.
