To fill mine 3/4 (til the tank was full), it was just under £40

I do last minute fuel stops so I end up putting in around 58-59 litres. Thats about 80 pounds, methinks.

Car has a 55 litre fuel tank so costs about 70-75 from empty to full.

What car do you drive for it to cost that much?

Since he put in roughly 100 litres, my guess is he drives an SUV or pickup truck.

Landrover Defender, Dads old one i believe he had an extra large fuel tank put on it for some unknown reason... although the thing does eat diesel like its going out of fashion -_- on top of that the local texaco seems to take delight in ripping off the customers by being 4p more expensive than anywhere else ive seen

Never filled up fully but £35 takes it from above the red line to ~3/4 full.
According to the internet my tank is about 45 litres so it's just under £60 at todays fuel prices

Around £65ish from empty at current prices of £1.30 a litre for unleaded. It was only 5 years ago I used to pay 87p per litre at my local garage :colonhash: and I'm sure others can remember it being even cheaper.

I think it's roughly £55.00. Not done it from empty before but £50 from fuel light being on is it near enough full.

I paid CHF165 for a fill up yesterday, fuel warning light had come on and in went 73l of diesel.

The Fiat cost around CHF55 to fill when it gives out the warning that it's hungry

Re: How much does it cost to fill your car?
My car only has a 35 litre tank so even when prices were really high in April it wasn't to bad to fill it up, petrol here is down to 126.9p so it cost about £43 to fill it down from about £47 in April.

However when I passed my test in September 2009 the same amount of litres would have cost about £31, shows how how much prices have gone up in such a short amount of time.
