Is there any way for me to get a part-time office job without experience?
I'm leaving out most details aside the relevant ones to cut a long story short. I'm currently on ESA but one of the few jobs I'm capable of doing is something office based as it doesn't involve heavy people interaction, having to think quick on my feet or be standing all day (fallen arches and foot pain, severe fatigue etc) so I think I would be able to come off it if I found such a job. Additionally, I am a quick learner and good with computers in general, fast and accurate typing, proof-reading and anything else they'd require.
The only problem being, I've never had a job... will anywhere take me and train me at the same time? Do I need experience to be a receptionist or do basic office work? -
Re: Is there any way for me to get a part-time office job without experience?I'm pretty sure you could get an interview if you craft your CV and application to perfection. I struggled at this stage, but recently I've had nothing but invitations to interviews. Experience is not a problem because everyone starts from zero, you just have to demonstrate that you are willing to learn so that they'll ignore the experience aspect. You'll get training too, so again it doesn't matter.(Original post by Freak Out)
