Re: IGCSE Maths help pleaseObviously wrong, the only solution to ax = bx where a and b are constants that do not equal each other is x = 0, but then they wouldn't = 6 or = 5.(Original post by Arcane Barn Elk)
Is this a typo in the material that I'm using, am I losing my mind? Or is there a solution to the following two questions - and if so please enlighten me!
x/3 = x/4 = 6
x = 3x = 5
Thanks! -
Re: IGCSE Maths help pleaseCould you let me know where you got the question/solution from?(Original post by Arcane Barn Elk)

NEC distance learning materials - they are practice questions. I'm going to have to look out for typos I guess. :/(Original post by notnek)
